I am all ready to head out on the dreaded family vacation. Just waiting on Corgi to finish his chew bone to take him to the boarding place. He's going to be disappointed. The place we usually go to closed so he's going to the vet. He loved the last place, the owners were great. Corgi would be excited to visit. But they retired at the beginning of the year. We were all sad.
It snowed, changed to sleet, and now back to snow. Dog didn't want to stay out long because of the weather and so poo'd in the house. I should go back to bed. I am only going to accomplish 3 things today, snow removal, DS' taxes, and bill paying. 9:30 and I have done nothing except make breakfast. Still in my PJs

Drying out here. Supposed to be a decent day but it suddenly turned cloudy so I'm not convinced. The boys have a dentist appt. later and then a birthday party.
24+ hours of rain here. A tiny bit of blue sky is trying to poke through all the clouds. I sure hope it turns in to a nice day. I planned a road trip to do some shopping. Hope everyone has a great Saturday!
Monster stays at the vet when we take long trips, he gets spoiled rotten.
They keep him out of his cage as long as they are there, he comes and goes as he pleases.
They even set up a big chair at their window for him to sun in.
Corgi will be wonderfully fine.
No snow here. May have breif, scattered rain, but not likely.
A nice 57 now, going to 71.
Going to start purging today.
I plan on getting rid of anything I haven't used in a year.
Clothes, cooking equipment, decorative items.
I need to get yard sale items together.

Was going through a stack of papers and ripped a stapled set in two, then realized I had ripped my recently obtained birth certificate, too.
Think if it's taped together it'll be ok?

I am so done with snow. Told DD I was considering selling the house. She said she knows I am joking, then pleaded with me not to even kid about it since it means she would have to live with her father. I think I have created a motivation for her to step up the snow removal help next winter. Will just need to teach her to be able to use the snow blower.

I'm at the walk in, they are trying to figure out if I have bronchitis or pneumonia. I don't care as long as it clears up before the wedding! I'm not looking forward to coughing my way through it.

If you're still sick on your wedding day, pop a cough drop in your mouth. I was very sick on my wedding day and the cough drop was the only thing that helped me to not hack up a lung at the altar.

Didn't try the peppermint but I have been choking down lemon juice and honey concoctions.
So he gave me a ****tail of mostly over the counter stuff, antacids, Flonase, plus prednisone because it may partly be asthma induced. Plus some other pill that's strictly for cough. I think the stars all came together on this one to sabatoge me!

I acted panicked and yelled that the washer was flooding all over the floor and bubbles everywhere, he shot up so fast and ran into the laundry room. Then I said April fools. I felt bad cause I didn't realized that he had a bad headache. I made him some dessert so I think he has forgiven me.
He was mowing and as he rode past my window, Aaron dumped a little cup of water on him.
Dad laughed like crazy.

We made it. So far, it's going about as expected. The waitress at dinner forgot my food, so I got mine about 10 minutes after everyone else. And we get back to the cabin to find out the dog ate my cookies. Every other bag of cookies was untouched, he only ate mine.
Oh, and this place doesn't have WiFi. I couldn't believe it. Sigh.
