A flock of flirting flamingos is pure, passionate, pink pandemonium-a frenetic flamingle-mangle-a discordant discotheque of delirious dancing, flamboyant feathers, and flamingo lingo.
Glad you are OK Trudy. Going to be 80 today!
My commute was interesting. A flock of turkeys brought a 4 lane highway to a halt. The male's were flaunting their feathers.

80 here, as well.

Somehow he got back on the route. THEN he was placed on leave for drinking while driving last month. But the Union got his job back. Hoping this is the last nail in the coffin!

How the hell did that happen? Shouldn't that be a no tolerance reason for termination?

You would think, LL. Everyone was hoping but the scum bag is back. I heard he wasn't supposed to be back until June but there he was yesterday. Total creep.
If his driving was impaired - everyone involved in that accident may now have a claim against the employer who put him back behind the wheel when they knew he had a drinking and driving incident recently. Even with union protection, he should have been re-assigned and not driving.

Glad you're okay, Trudy! I can't believe the Union got him his job back given the circumstances. I would have to be filing suit or writing some letters to someone about it.
It's a gorgeous day here. Mid 70s and sick as I am, I'm lying on the sofa with the front door open and a nice breeze blowing over me. Feels good to have some fresh air in the place. I'm so glad winter is over.
Weekend flew by. This is going to be a busy week. I'm making my bunny cake for Bible study this week since Easter is this weekend. It's easy to make but is going to be hard to transport. I'll have to remember to grab a container to put the leftovers in so the trip back home isn't as painful. I also volunteered to make Easter goodies for this weekend. Haven't decided what I want to make.
This is weird (and more than a little annoying). I got a cancelation notice for my car insurance today. It says for non payment and that what I owe "includes returned payments". I have auto pay, my credit card is charged every month. I noticed it hadn't hit my card for April, but the normal payment date was over the weekend, I figured I would give it a couple days before calling. I triple checked my statements for the last three months. All show the payment, none show any return or credit.
I know it's got to be a mistake of some sort, but it's still unnerving. And of course, I have to wait until tomorrow to call the office. I should go knock on my agent's door....he just lives a few streets down.
