Good morning, all! Beautiful day here, no clouds in the sky, full sunshine and temps headed to 70 for the day. LOL Fort Worth Mom, 72 is perfect around here for a cookout. If it's too chilly for you, throw on a sweatshirt and cookout anyway! I'm thinking of firing up the grill myself. Been really hungry for a burger cooked on the grill with some corn on the cob. Got some watermelon the other day. Glad Spring / Summer is here.
Sun is shining today. I'm off to church and then shopping with a friend. She's in the market for a chair-and-a-half. I have a truck. It works out well :)

I love chair-and-a- half. So comfy and two people can fit most times. Great alternative to a sofa in a small room or if you have a big room better than a regular chair.

While on our recent vacation, the boys were playing with some other boys staying nearby. A little boy, probably 2, latched on to me. He followed me around, asking me various questions. He asked me how old "I" was. I paused, looked at #2, and said, "21." #2 laughed his bottom off.
SB that storm is headed up the coast, we are getting it Tuesday.
Brunch was so Yummy! But I ate too much. And we chatted for a couple of hours so had no time to swing by Wegman's. I have to make that my destination next time.

2 friends of mine use to run the kitchen at our local RL.
They said everything is frozen, nothing is fresh except the garnish.

But at least I am somewhere where the roof is not letting rain pour through. A contractor came over this morning. About $6000 to relpace the roof. But we dont have an option.

As I mentioned, I borrowed dad's truck for the day. I noticed the check engine light was on, so I texted my mom, to see if I should do something....meaning take it to be checked tomorrow. Here is what I get
Me: tell dad the check engine light is on. Ask if I should do something
Mom: he says, if it stops, call a tow truck
If he's not worried about it, I'm not worried about it. I'm treating this as a weeklong test drive. I want a truck next, and want to see how I like it as a daily driver.
