Doubt it, although he has been known to come out. This will most likely just be the East Wing. I've been trying for years to take the boys, but got shot down each time by the prior administration. I haven't been since 1999, and my parents haven't been since 1995 when I took them last time. DH has never been, nor have the boys. Of course when I went in 1999 it was the West Wing and at night, just 4 of us with a SS agent. This won't be as personal, and it won't be guided, although there will be agents there to answer questions.

Right? I'm so excited. I've been trying for a few years now to get in, but was declined each time. I want the boys to see it. I had to request it months ago and provide SSN's & DOBs for each guest in my party. Even DH is surprised and excited.
Do they still do the regular tours like they use to?

No regular tours. That stopped after 9/11. A couple years later they re-opened but only to select groups who underwent a background investigation. That stopped in 2013 due to the sequestration. Then it was opened a month later, again for select groups who underwent the background investigation. This is how it is now.
Can you imagine when you could walk up and ask to speak to the president?
