It's nearly 4 am and I'm still awake. And I took melatonin at 10.

It's going to be a long day.

New employee starts today. I passed him being escorted by HR lady. HR lady says good morning to me and keeps going. Then I hear her stop to introduce him to the people they are passing. Well, except for me. She's such a passive aggressive B. Introduced him to everyone along the hallway except for me.

Wow. Sorry to hear of the suicide.

It's pretty here, but crispy cool. I get a new work laptop today, so I came in. Otherwise, I might have turned around and worked from home. Traffic was not good. But alas, here I am.

I have a book to recommend for your boys. It's called "The Wild Robot," by Peter Brown. I usually read YA books, but this is for a younger audience.

Amazon gives it 5 stars & I totally agree. I am not quite finished, but I wanted to let you know.

Aww, SB, I'm so sorry. Yeah, you are having a bad beginning to a new week.

Enjoyed a great weekend with DS and DGS.

Hey flan, are you familiar with a YA series (3 books) called 'magic' or something similar? I was talking to someone about Harry Potter and they recommended this series, but I can't find it anywhere.

I think you are looking for "Magyk" - The Septimus Heap series. Not nearly as good as Harry Potter, but it kept my attention for the first 2 books. After that, I was like - "meh".

I gave my mom my old Fitbit last week. She lost it today. Sigh. I guess I did read bad reviews about the holder I got, so it is partly my fault. I just ordered a new one. I got the one with a clip this time, she doesn't like things on her wrist (hence the holder that fell off).
