I have been sweating and coughing all night.

Aaron has a school requirement today and tomorrow. Gotta say, I've really been enjoying not having to be up this early.

Sweating while outside.

Found another snake last night. They live in the stacked stone wall above the pool. Where the chipmunks used to live.

The 13 year cicadas are back. Little holes in the ground and their nymph carcasses stuck on the knockout roses. I wonder if we'll get them as bad as we did on our wedding day.

The temperature is 46 degrees here this morning. Shooting for a high of 57.

Tomorrows high will be 45.

Snow in the mountains west of here.

It is MAY for crying out loud!

I dug out not only jeans, but a sweater! Had to add a quilt to the bed last night.

DH caved and turned the heat back on. Yup, it's spring time in the middle of nowhere.

Hope you all either stay cool or stay warm!

Glad you made it safe njn, my granddaughter will start kindergarten this year too! Hope itty-bitty has fun. Happy birthday to bruiser, oh-four, stay cool everyone. Visiting my daughter and her family. Dd and oldest granddaughter took me to a tea room for my mother's day gift. I've been fighting allergies since before I got here

So, a remembet a couple of weeks ago, we had the yard landscaped? Well last night, I made a passing comment about how the porch needed some plants. Lo and behold, I drive in this evening and there are 3 hanging plants and 2 potted plants and they are PERFECT! Just gorgeous!
I think Im gonna keep him. Sweet man...

You gotta love a man that knows how to do the little things for his woman. My hubby did that for me last night. I mentioned I was craving french onion soup and he stopped at the store on the way home and made me french onion soup! Love him so much!
