Kathy Griffin posed with the severed head of President Donald Trump in a bloody photo shoot for artist and photographer Tyler Shields this week.

In one image, obtained by TMZ, the 56-year-old My Life on the D-List comedian looks directly into the camera while hoisting up Trump’s severed head, which is covered in dark red blood.

 

According to the gossip outlet, Griffin joked during the photo shoot that she and Shields, who is known for his shocking artwork, would need to flee the country after the pictures came out, for fear of imprisonment.

Griffin has been an outspoken critic of the president; in October, the comedian and television personality cut a mock campaign advertisement which featured her repeatedly telling the then-Republican presidential candidate to “f*ck off.”

The gruesome photo isn’t the first “artwork” to depict Trump being beheaded; in August, a cartoon version of Trump had his head cut off in an issue of the comic book Spawn, while comedian George Lopez previously tweeted  a cartoon image of notorious drug lord El Chapo beheading Trump in March of last year.

The Los Angeles-based Shields posted updates about his new project with Griffin on his Twitter account Tuesday, including a behind-the-scenes video of their photo shoot, however the YouTube link to the video appeared to be broken as of Tuesday morning.

On a similar note, we had to let a co-worker go yesterday. We are a Christian company and deal with Christian acts. Most Christians are Republicans.

Well, she was having none of it. Verbally attacking our artists, not supporting them through marketing...any artist that identified as Conservative, she blatantly showed disdain for.

This is what all the belly aching to their like minded social circles has done; they can no longer figure out right from wrong. I think she should be arrested. At the very least doing so would compel others to think about their actions with more of a filter. Might even lead to a more toned down belly aching crowd.

 What did she expect  when she applied  to work there? My dd worked for someone  who worked  for Clinton. Even though they both had different  political  views  she respected him as her boss and as his personal  assistant  she worked real hard for him and he was very good  to her.

She's worked here almost as long as I have.  She was tolerable until this past election.  She had a huge election night party.  She invited everyone, knowing 99% of us are Conservative.

Well, the Wednesday after the election, she called in sick.  And SAID it was because she felt suicidal.  Then she called out the rest of the week too.  

After the election, she refused to even talk to me.  She would have her assistant communicate with me (and others, which was a main reason she was let go).  When I had to move offices last week, G and I were riding down the elevator and she hopped on.  I asked what floor and she nudged me aside and pushed the floor herself.  Wouldn't even tell me the floor.

Sadly, I think she got a severance package.  About a years worth of pay.  But her reputation in the industry is ruined.  No one is going to work with her now, knowing how she treated her artists.

  They did drop her from their New Year's Eve show. I've seen people on Facebook who didn't like Trump condemned her.

She said she is sorry but I dont believe her. The only reason she said she was sorry is because she is getting hammered on both ends of the stick.

The real gauge to see if someone is sorry is to ask, would they say "im sorry" if they hadnt gotten in trouble for it? No? Then they are only sorry cuz they got in trouble, not because they did a bad thing.

Comedian Wanda Sykes is the latest to publicly criticize Donald Trump on stage, but when her comments were met with resistance, Sykes reportedly flipped off the booing crowd and told them, “f— all y’all.”

During the 22nd annual Comics Come Home fundraiser at Boston’s TD Garden arena over the weekend, Sykes blasted the newly elected president for being a racist, sexist, and a homophobe.

“I am certain this is not the first time we’ve elected a racist, sexist, homophobic president,” said Sykes, according to the Boston Herald. “He ain’t the first one. He’s just the first confirmed one.”

Wanda Sykes never impressed me as an even mediocre comedian or actress either. I was beginning to think I just don't like female comics, but then I remembered that I love Elayne Boosler, Whitney Cummings, Sarah Silverman, Whoopi Goldberg (some of her earlier stuff), Rita Rudner, etc.

So it's not a dislike of females in comedy. It's simply that these two (Griffin & Sykes) basically suck.

Carol Burnett, Lucille Ball and even Joan Rivers were great comedians and will be remembered for how they made people laugh and forget about our troubles and life for a while. This woman will only be remembered for being stupid.
