Parents horrified as school official comes on stage in DRAG at a talent show and starts performing risqué moves in a short sheer dress and stilettos in front of their children
A 'Learning Expo' last week was held for students of Manhattan's District 4
And while there were art exhibitions and piano performances, one final act took parents and children by surprise
Parent Association President Frankie Quinones donned a dress to sing and dance seductively and writhe on the floor
Some parents from the schools said they were horrified to watch the display
In a sharp deviation from what is usually expected at a school talent show, a man wearing a long red wig, a sheer black dress and glittery stilettos gave a crowd of New York parents and students a show they wouldn't soon forget.
The 'Learning Expo' was held for students of Manhattan's District 4 on May 25, and was intended to be for children as young as five to showcase what they have learned in school.
And while there were art exhibitions and piano performances, it was the final act of the two-hour event that really made a statement, the New York Daily News reported.
Public School 96 Parent Association President Frankie Quinones took the stage for a lengthy singing and dancing drag performance, donning a short dress and heavy makeup to perform an Iris Chacón song.

In a video of the act, elementary and high school students can be heard giggling in the background.
Quinones is reportedly a feature at drag clubs throughout the city, and the video clearly shows this isn't his first rodeo.
He made his way around the stage shaking his hips and giving sultry looks, before doing a floor routine that involved thrusting one leg into the air and flashing his skimpy underwear.
The intention behind the spectacle seems to have been to give a lesson about sexuality, but some parents said they were shocked and uncomfortable by the 'special surprise performance.'
Raquel Morales, whose son is in fifth grade at a public school in the district, has launched a social media campaign of sorts to try and get an apology.
'People were horrified,' Morales told the Daily News.
'It looked like a nightclub performance. I've been asking for an apology from the district for the last week, and they've been ignoring it.'
Morales's son JD also said he felt uncomfortable.
'I saw her doing things like sticking her legs out and shaking her bottom and it felt weird,' he said.
'I don't know why they would do that for an elementary school.'
Michael Aciman, a spokesman for the Education Department, called the performance 'inappropriate' and said the parent has been spoken with, but that school officials have not been disciplined.
The Parent Association President did this? Oh, boy....
Kids like to dress up, but a drag show complete with shaking various parts? I do not think so...
Our local high school hosts a Mr. Schoolname every year. It started as a way to raise funds for which ever department hosts it that year.
The contestants dress in drag, perform, and are judged by various teachers, administrators, and such.
It's a fun evening.
But an elementary school? And doing that stuff?
It's disgusting.
I hope he gets fired.
Thing is, if he did that in a park, he'd be arrested and charged with some sex crime.

WOW! I'm speechless. I cannot believe the school administration would permit such a performance in front of any children let alone elementary age. Dear Lord, what has our world come to? Truly shameful.
Not trying to hijack this topic, but.... An 8 year old girl was kidnapped, sexually assaulted, stripped and left dead under a bridge about a month ago in a city here in Japan. When the police caught the guy, it turned out he was President of the PTA at the school... He is married and has a couple of kids...
This is a lot worse than a drag show, but it makes one wonder if people who deal with young children should not be subjected to a lot more screening than they apparently are....
I don't see a lot of MEN anymore? I mean really. So few MEN will stand up nowadays. Where are they? A lot of men have been beaten down out of taking stands.
Well, that's totally inappropriate. For any school, regardless of age. And, I don't know if men would have interceded. For one, they'd be shocked and frozen and for two, it seems like anything and everything - including telling someone not to be an exhibitionist in front of children - winds up in court.
That said, in my highschool talent show we did a lip synch to Pretty Woman. Our gym teacher dressed up as a women and strutted the stage. Fully dressed and stumbling in heels. A little different that what that guy did.
You know, I want to know why NO ONE stopped this, or why people didn't get up and walk out.
This isn't just a "where are the men", it's where are the adults?
