Flan is not allowed to correct spelling, grammar or word usage. She does this continually for no reason other than to troll, belittle people, and throw the thread off topic when she doesn't like what is being discussed.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.
A flock of flirting flamingos is pure, passionate, pink pandemonium-a frenetic flamingle-mangle-a discordant discotheque of delirious dancing, flamboyant feathers, and flamingo lingo.
Back to the OP though, I'm not sure how comfortable I am with a rule for one specific member, no matter who that member is or what that rule is. Board rules should apply to all equally or to none.
That's just my personal opinion though. It and $5 will get you a small coffee at Starbucks. On second thought, just use the $5, they might charge you more if you gave them my opinion.
But all the board doesn't run around correcting people when they don't want to answer questions and their only aim is to troll, belittle and throw a thread off topic. So, I'm fine with it applying to a specific poster. I'm tired of the mentality that the whole "class" must suffer because of one. Clearly this has been an long-standing, on-going problem with the poster in question or the Admin would not be so inclined to devise the rule in the first place. I trust LL's judgement and ruling on this.
It was make a special rule or just ban her because I've told her to knock it off several times. And it would be her last and permanent ban. So, if I get rid of the rule - flan goes.

I wasn't suggesting get rid of the rule. I just don't think having separate rules for certain people sets a good precedent. My suggestion would be to make it a general rule for everyone.
What's next? Cheerios4606 can have shoes as an avatar, but FNW has to stop?

Because sometimes, it is actually done as a joke - a funny typo, etc. and people joking with each other shouldn't be punished. flan doesn't do it that way. She does it to troll, belittle and throw a topic off track.

So make that the rule for everyone, that's all I'm suggesting. Anyone that dies it to troll, belittle, or throw a topic off track should be in violation as well, if it's a rule.
I don't correct spelling so it's not really ever going to be an issue for me either way though.
