My turn with the stomach bug. Started about 2am. God, it's awful.
Hope everyone has a nice day.

A great day for a birthday! Celebrating dear grandson #3 today. :)
And, I got good news this morning!
I was diagnosed with crushing exhaustion early last week and the labs say I have a severe vitamin D deficiency. So severe, I'm one point from the panic mode.
Rest and large daily doses of D will cure this awful tiredness. I will function again!!
You have no idea what a relief this diagnosis is for me and the family.
I just might dig some more flower pots out after all. :)
This terrible weakness and exhaustion has taken a terrible toll.
We are all so happy!!
Yes! I will live!!
(only cancer survivors will understand this scare) No insult intended toward anyone.

After 24 hours, I finally got a couple crackers and about an ounce of ginger ale in me and it seems to be staying.
Still feel like death.
But it is improvement.

The DiVinci Code is on TV. I love the books. But they totally missed the mark, Kevin Costner would have been the perfect Robert Langdon. Still bugs me.
So, I have to be to work by 9 this morning. I get up and do the usual routine. Talk with DIL on phone and while I'm doing that get dressed and ready to leave. I made sure I had my glasses, and since I never take a purse to work, I made sure I had some cash / bank card, driver's license and a couple of breath mints and . . . out the door I go. Half way down the front steps, I realize I don't have my keys. Yep, locked them inside the apartment. *sigh* Called the landlord and left a message, called work, they sent someone to pick me up. Got a ride home from one of the other girls I work with and had to then climb in through the bathroom window. I'd have done that before they sent a girl to get me this morning but given my brain clearly was not working, I didn't think to do it until after she picked me up!
When I finally got home and in, I had to quick "freshen up", change and leave again to head to the doctor's for a routine check up. BP was great and everything else checked out as well.
Yep, that's how my day went. I'm off the next two days but tomorrow morning I have to have blood drawn at 9 and it's a fasting one. UGH! How will I make it for two or three hours WITHOUT . MY . COFFEE!

I'm picturing you crawling through the bathroom window.. (bwahahaha)
Glad everything looks okay so far for the checkup. I thought I would die on Saturday morning before they got my blood drawn. DH packed a thermos full of coffee for me to drink as soon as the needle was out! Gotta love that guy.

Yep, the girl who brought me home and then helped hold the cooler for me to step up on to get through the window was laughing too! I almost got stuck half way through. This window is smaller than a normal window and I'm not as small as I used to be.
Kudos to DH. I was planning to do the same thing with a thermos mug. I am not waiting until I get home to have it. I'll take it with.
