Aaron and I are both going to the doctor in a bit. This bug just will not let go.
Hope everyone has a nice day.

Good morning, everyone! Hope the day finds you well and smiling. It is yet another gloomy, cloud-filled day. It rained late yesterday afternoon and continued off and on through the night.
Had bloodwork done yesterday. Got the results back already. Glucose is well within the ranges. Cholestoral is high; well above the "norm" but, to be fair, it hasn't changed in over 30 years. It is what it was the last time I had it checked. Not sure if that's good it stayed the same. I'm sure the doc is going to want to put me on some sort of meds for it but to be honest, not sure I'll do it. The side effects of most of the meds today seem far worse than what the meds are to "cure".
Not much going on for me today. Hoping to hear from the apt mgr so I can go see it today. Other than that, I'll be hanging at home, unless I can think of something more fun to do. hahaha

Do you eat oatmeal? You should be eating oatmeal or other forms of oats often.

Good Morning! Hope you and Aaron get to feeling better soon lily, I agree about the oatmeal dd and maybe some exercise if you don't already. Hope your job gets better soon Lenin.
Started planning our Disney world trip for next year. I know it's early but I want to make sure we have all our ducks in order.
I don't think I'll be getting any overtime this weekend, its pretty slow right now. And my job today sucks, I'm sanding the inside of overhead bins. I have to wear a respirator which leaves marks on my face plus a huge safety suit. And the sander is super heavy and my arms hurt.
Okay I'm done ranting, back to the grind!

Sounds like it is time to take the cushy office position!

FS, before you go on meds look up Red Rice Yeast. My dad is living proof that this natural remedy works, at least it did for him and his cholesterol levels.
Lily, glad you are on meds to get over the crud along with your son.
Lenni, good to see you!
Hi to all!
I slept almost 11 hours last night. My body must need lots of rest. I actually feel better today.
Road trip this afternoon. Haven't been over to check on HDD for 10 days. I'm dreading all the cleaning I will have to do when I get there. Hoping it won't be to bad since she has care givers daily during the week. In July she will have hours for someone else to come and clean for her. Just need to get to July! The restrictions on who and what program can do what and when is crazy.
Beautiful day here, so will be migrating outside soon.
Have a great Wednesday all!

Faith isn't something that keeps bad things from happening. Faith is what helps us get through bad things when they do happen.

Meds have helped, I actually want food. A cheeseburger of all things!
But I think I'll hold off for now.
Aaron is feeling better, too.

Just got a call from the doctor, my liver numbers are up a bit.
My white blood count is low, and I'm no longer borderline anemic, I just am.
She wants to do the labs again in 2 weeks.
If there is no improvement, she will test for hep c.
Not gonna lie, I'm a bit concerned.
But, I'm gonna give it to God and let Him deal with it.

Not everyone appreciates a good pun - you either love them or hate them.
It some times takes me a minute to catch them, but when I do, I like them.

I don't know how on earth I would have come in contact with hep c.

Lily I got test for hep. C on my last dr. Visit. I believe it may be a new standard procedure since I was just there for a yearly check up. They are trying to find out why so this test is just to rule it out.
Ok. I'm not really thinking I could have hep c, because I have zero risk factors for it.
No tats, my last piercing was in the 80s, I've never been in prison, never shot up, and haven't been with anyone in almost 20 years.
Nope. No way it's hep c.
But what does have me thinking is, I take a lot of Tylenol.
Never more than the recommended dose and I try to abstain on days I can deal with the pain.
So I'm hoping I haven't damaged my liver like that.

I'm definitely in the latter category. Sometimes, if the pun is well-placed, I'll laugh. Usually, I roll my eyes.
DH overdoes it. He also tries to make everything into a joke. It wasn't cute the first time and it's downright irritating the hundredth time. You cannot use common colloquialisms around him. If you say, for example, "up and at 'em," he will say "why Adam hehehehe why not Steve hehehe" or something equally asinine. "That's the norm" gets "Peterson" said immediately after you say norm because of Norm Peterson from Cheers. Any usage of "condescending" gets "Why? I'm not wet" in response. Very, very irritating. Makes talking to him a chore.
