I use liquid coconut oil as a carrier for some of my essential oil blends. But that's the only thing I use it for.

Doesn't it make your hair oily? I clean my face with straight olive oil and it works great, but I would think it would be too oily for my hair.

You use a very small amount and keep it away from your roots.

For your hair, you treat it like a deep conditioning treatment, and then you wash it out.

No. After I blow dry I work it in to my hair.

I can't do that.  I couldn't handle the smell of coconut all day.

Coconut oil is anti-bacterial and anti-fungal. So it is a great nighttime moisturizer.

I don't use it.

For anything.

It is not infused with the fake coconut smell as other coconut products are.  No odor.

I have a very sensitive nose, and I use organic coconut oil. I can smell the coconut, even after I wash it out - I can't imagine leaving it in.

The only thing that i hear it's good for is making popcorn like movie theater popcorn. Other than that, i have no use for it.

I cook with it. And put it into my smoothies in liquid form.

Some people actually blend it into coffee; it's supposed to accelerate fat burning while reducing hunger as is an extended form of protein release.

Known as Bulletproof Coffee and often includes unsalted butter as well.

I am so glad you posted this.  I have Rosacea and am currently on of my topical lotion that prevents outbreaks. My Derm will not call in a presript for me and I can't get in to see her until late July. 10 years ago the prescription cost $9/month, it is now $200 for the first order and $50 for the next two, then the price to me resets.  I am going to try the coconut oil since Rosacea is a fungus.
