I am a total weirdo in that I regularly "discover" Shows, bands and people.  First it was Evita (the original Broadway Musical)  Now lately its been Chicago (the band) and particularly Peter Cetera.

I grew up in the 80's so I was familiar with his solo work but there were all these Chicago songs I heard and knew....but had no idea it was him singing.  Had no idea those songs were by Chicago (because I live under a rock, apparently)

Anyway his evolution over the years is so interesting.  He started out quite homely and really in the background.  Even tho he had that voice.  Then by the time you see him in the 80's he is front and center and so handsome.  Then of course his solo work.  He is now 70 years old but its do interesting to look back and see his evolution.

I know what you mean.

I am completely obsessed with Supernatural. I didn't even know it existed until 4 years ago.

I don't know if I would define mine as obsession, maybe a fascination?  Anyway, I could SO live in some of those little homes!  Not the portable, though...I prefer a solid foundation.

I would LOVE a tiny house. Didn't we have a thread on that awhile back?

Something the you don't think about with a tiny house is the closet space. There is almost none. Think about all you have in your closets and drawers. You would have to slash that by about 90%...

That wouldn't be a big issue for me.

My problem would be all the pets. And not wanting to kill all the humans. wink

No tiny house, for me.

I'd love to downsize, some day.

I have to wait, until we have less people/pets, in the house.

(7 cats and a dog. I'm screwed. I need 2800 square feet. Dang it!)cry

Now, if it were me, alone.

I could probably handle 400 square feet.

And, wouldn't that be sad.cry

Tiny houses! Oh yeah. I could live in one.

As for closet space, I don't need much.

I look at them, Lily...and there is no way I would be able to clean one.

I can't bend that low, or slink into small spaces.

I couldn't do it.

As cute as they are...I don't want one.cry

Our Lake House isn't much bigger than a tiny house. I have over 100 pairs of shoes. I would have no where to put them. And then there are the basses. All of his basses wouldn't even fit in a tiny house!

I guess it really is, "different strokes, for different folks."

My weird obsession, is The Tennis!

I love Rafa, I'm a fan of Roger, and Novak, too. Andy is good...so is Stan.

I can't figure out how there is a "Big Four".confuse

Nope. In my opinion, we have the "Big Three, and the Little Two". ( In Men's Tennis)

The media comes up with this stuff, and  some folks believe it.

(Take it from me, my friends. There is No Big Four! We have a Big Three, and a Little Two.)

JMHO.wink

I totally agree, FWM! Tennis is my obsession. lol I never understood where they got that. It's been Rafa, Federer and Djokovic for years. Andy's always been in the background working his little heart out. Stan too. I feel for Stan. I'd love to see him crack through and stay there.

I couldn't live in the average tiny house, but there are ADA small houses.

They are not on wheels, but they are between 400-600 sq. ft.

Then there are care cottages.

Small homes designed for the elderly and disabled.

So cute.

I could do a tiny house maybe in another ten or so years. Not at this point in life though. Some of them really are gorgeous. But, like lily, I'd need it rooted, not movable. Although, it would be nice to pick up and travel with it. I'm just too old to hook it up to something to haul it. hahaha

To me, if you want one on wheels, get a camper.

Roger that! My parents had some great ones, that would sleep eight. (Travel trailers, not campers.)

They made such good use of the space. It was amazing!

(Been there, done that. These "tiny houses, are from hunger")

JMHO. I don't want one.wink

When I was a teenager, I practically lived in our pop up camper.

Only needed to go in the house for the bathroom.

It was wonderful.

OH my gosh....I have someone to talk to about, "THE TENNIS"!

Yeehaw. Thank you, FS. (Smooch!)wink

I've been the tennis nerd on this board, for, forever.wink

And, happily, the Good Geeks have always been very sweet about it. They pay attention, and know what's going on. They don't make fun of me.

It will be fun, to have another tennis fan on the board with me.smile

How Fun!

(Okay, I'm also a Golf fan...and a big time college football fan. How do you fall with those sports? Just wondering....)smile

Christmas, specifically decorations.

I'm looking at ideas online now.

Thinking purple for the living room.

Candy or North Pole for the den.

You can talk tennis with me any time! I love it. Played on the HS team and still play for fun. Taught DGD how as well.

Golf . . . my Mother absolutely loved watching golf. She got sucked in more so when Tiger started playing. Me, *nods off* hahaha, 'nuff said.

I much prefer college football over pro but since I don't have cable right now, I haven't been able to keep up for the last couple of years. Being from PA, I have to go with the Nittany Lions, of course.

 Hay, I have a Tennis Fan...Yeehaw! Happy Dance!smile

I like golf, too. Tiger, not so much. We saw him play, several times.

When things didn't go his way, his language, got colorful. I'm glad I didn't have any young people with us, to see that.cry

I wish Tiger the best.

I think he did a lot, for the sport.

But, as a person...I have my doubts.

JMHO.

chicago (the original band) was an extremely talented group of musicians--as far as singers(lead) you had cetera(a perfect-pitch tenor), lamm and kath(until his death)with his bluesy/breathy/soulful style--cetera, though, was the real voice/sound of chicago for a lot of years--with his incredible range and his stout bass playing, he brought a lot to the group--other than mercury(queen), plant(zep), anderson(yes), page(mister mister) and winwood, there were very few who could match his singing ability/musicianship

I think the idea of having my OWN Tiny house (without kids or men) is what I am a tad bit obsessed over right now.
