I went for a drive to nowhere yesterday. I stopped along the way to snap a pic of some deer in the field and when I turned around to see the view behind me, I saw this looking at me . . .
Finished packing for my mom. She is living out of boxes for the duration of this week. The rest of my siblings load her stuff on Friday and move her to Minnesota.
Poor mom, she's excited and scared at the same time.
I currently have so many irons in the fire that I'm not sure which way to turn first.
Finish stripping and painting, clean the garage, or finish a quilt. Decisions, decisions, decisions.
Less than two weeks to a huge family reunion and the house is a mess...
I think my "give a damn" broke.

I just got back from our annual summer trip to Michigan. Great time hanging out with the in-laws, checking out local breweries and visiting my husbands Alma Mater: University of Michigan. Go Blue!
I love this thread! Such great and funny stories. Went to the office this morning and working from home this afternoon. My company is really pushing flexible work schedules and working remotely. :)

I had errands to run and go look at a couple of apartments. Two of them were absolutely hideous and looked like the worst drug places ever. Not that I know what that looks like but I can imagine these two were close! UGH! The third was in a really nice neighborhood and spacious enough but hasn't been updated in probably more than 40 years. The bathroom was pretty bad. I guess I'll just keep looking.

I could hardly believe my eyes, FS. He didn't play badly. Muller played out of his mind good. It was quite the battle!
