Sooooo, a friend of mine told me something a mutual friend told her. Her husband is a pharmacist and she said he lies to customers and tells them they are out of the PLANB pill when they ask for it. Does one sin trump another sin? Would you tip off the pharmacy?
That's stupid and mean. Pharmacists (in some states) are allowed to decide they will not dispense a medication based on religious objections.
Although, if they are working for a corporate pharmacy that is probably against company policy.
The stupid part is that anyone can go to the next pharmacy down the road for the medicine they need.
What does he intend to accomplish by lying to people?
I wouldn't. Taking the high moral ground can sometimes lead to disastrous results. And once reported it cannot be taken back...
As Judge Judy said on one of her shows: Who made you the world's policeman??
Personally, I wouldn't be doing anything based on somebody said somebody said something. It may be absolutely true but I that just isn't enough information in my opinion. And, pharmacists are allowed to not dispense that which violates their conscience.
I wouldnt say anything. But honestly... why would someone work for a company if they knew certain aspects of their job would require them to do something that is against their beliefs?? That is like a muslim working on a pig farm. There ARE going to be aspects that are against your belief system, so WHY WOULD YOU WORK THERE!

Their career started prior to Al the new drugs and laws came about.

Well, I don't necessarily agree. One becomes a pharmacist or nurse, that doesn't mean you leave your conscience at home. So if Muslims don't have to serve pork, why should a pharmacist also be compelled?

In this day and age - that could knock out a whole lot of careers, don't you think? Should people not become doctors if they won't do abortions? Should people not become lawyers if they don't believe in divorce or lawsuits? There are plenty of aspects to a job that should not be ruled out because of one objection.
