I am waiting for a friend to come and take 6 zucchini off my hands..

Two plants!! And we are inundated with zucchini.

DGD will mow for us this afternoon. Otherwise, we are taking it easy today.

I love zucchini and eat a lot of it during the summer. Last night I shredded it, sauteed it with cheeses & garlic, and used it to stuff chicken breasts. It's one of my favorites!

#2's golf lesson was rescheduled due to impending rain. Over three inches in the last two days, with more to come.

I just walked the dog down the street and back. It's so humid, I'm literally dripping sweat just from that.

Mowing is done, even managed to pull the weeds that annoyed me the most. Yard work is done. Shower now and shopping later. I want to go to Michael's and browse.

Tired and grumpy.

Idiot neighbors behind me decided to crank up the music at 2 am. and have a pool party.

I threatened to call the police. They turned it down.

But, my nights sleep got ruined.

Grrrrrrr.furious

I hope everyone has a good day.wink

That sucks FWM.  Sonny had me up at 5:30.  He was whining to go out even though I took him out to pee at midnight.  Then I hear his stomach making noises. I was up in a flash!

You would think that folks would have better sense. But, no.cry

If it happens again, I will call the cops.

They got their warning.

I hope Sonny's tummy is feeling better. It stinks to have to get up that early.

DS is balled up on the bed still sleeping. I'm enjoying some computer time. Not sure if we're going to stay in the hotel another week or not.

Chef, I think about you often.  You know things will be better on the other side of this nightmare.

FWM, your neighbor sounds like mine, minus the pool. They just don't seem to care that others are trying to sleep. But, lucky me, not only do they play music loudly at all hours of the night on any given day, they also have a monstrous dog and a postage size yard with a huge table in it and allow the dog to crap all over the small yard and clean it up maybe once a week. The stench is bad. I don't know how they don't step in it while partying.

 How sweet :)

I know things will be better. Just taking it one day at a time right now. The apartment office keeps lying. No surprise.

Played table hockey with DS earlier. He said if he knocks it off the table, he wins. If I knock it off the table, I win. Turned out he won regardless of who knocked it off the table. Sneaky!

Our poplar tree started turning colors this week, today, in just the last 2 hours, it started dropping leaves.

I'm actually looking forward to fall this year.

I don't think they know how deep of a hole they've dug for themselves. Especially the insurance fraud. That was really ballsy on their part.

I'm a stubborn person. I prefer to remain on good terms with my landlord. But, I won't tolerate being lied to and jerked around.

I knew that about you but do you know how many people will be helped by your actions? they won't even know who to thank, but it will be you.

I'm hoping for that kind of good to come out of all this. They're in violation of their own lease on a few clauses. I plan on addressing all of that. We've talked to a few of our neighbors in the past and it's the same story - starts off good then nosedives. They will breathe down the necks of some tenants and leave others alone and it's obvious when they pull that stunt.

One thing I'm finding exceptionally fishy is that they've removed our and their signatures from the lease. They do e-leases and I accessed the lease a couple weeks ago to print out a copy so I can have it readily accessible. No signatures. Quite odd, indeed.

DD's friend just came over. She talks a million words a minute. She's all stressed out due to family being here from out of town. Can I slip her a little something in her drink?

LOL! Mine have illegal urban chickens! They are worse, than dogs.

Trust me, on that.

(The rats. The crowing. Good grief, move out to the country, already!)

These inconsiderate jack wagons have gone too far.

And, will deserve, what they get.

They need a big place, out in the country. They should not live, in town.no

JMHO, of course.wink

OK, you win! lol Have you reported them for the chickens? I'm sure you have. Chickens are the worst. I've contacted the code enforcement here at least a dozen times. That's when they neighbor cleans it up, when Code contacts them. I've gotten to the point where I take pics of all the poop and email them to Code because Code initially told me every time he went there, it was empty, yet I saw Code in the yard when there was 11 piles of it. This neighbor is the type who has made friends with all the cops, etc. in town. He's tried to make nice with all the neighbors too so no one will report him. Clearly he doesn't know me even though he's been friendly from the start. hahaha

I think my neighbor might be moving to NC (please God). I heard him talking about it and yesterday he moved his big RV to the one side in front of his garage area (backed in against the garage door). Then, he and a buddy climbed on the roof and went into the garage and started throwing all kinds of crap out. Steel bars, wood, plywood, aluminum siding, anything and everything. They would spend ten minutes throwing stuff out to the ground and half an hour taking a break. That went on all day. The weird thing is, on the other side of the RV is his pull-along trailer. Not sure why but they threw all the stuff to the ground just outside his fenced in area and right next to the neighbor's on the other side of him. We all were thinking this is great, he's cleaning the place up. Nope, everything that was tossed out is still laying there all over the place this morning. I guess they got too drunk to finish.

I want 50 acres on a mountain and a house plopped right smack in the middle of it!
