This old lady is exhausted from a very busy weekend AGAIN!
Had little man from Friday until I returned him to his dad late yesterday afternoon. We met midway, had an early supper and we each returned home.
DS is in the process of toilet training little man. He would NOT go on the potty at all for me. I swear he peed on me on purpose. He got the bed too. Grr.
The little guy got off the toilet just before bed on Saturday night, then stood by the bed and peed all over the throw rug.
I have done a lot of laundry...
Attended a funeral and then a teleconference today.
August is rapidly going down the tubes with meetings. :(
Hope everyone has a great week!

Faith isn't something that keeps bad things from happening. Faith is what helps us get through bad things when they do happen.
Need to dust and vacuum the living room, and finish 1 more load of laundry.
And figure out dinner.

Phew.... my end of the house is practically spotless.
Jesse is going to clean up after dinner.
I'm so tired.

BOTH of my renters are behind on their rent. One, I can understand - he had to have a stent put in his heart July 5th, and he had a difficult recovery. Rent was due July 1. OK, I'm reasonable. I even got his wife a job at the local ice house (corner store convenience store). But not a penny from them, not even to cover electricity.
However. My other renter is stonewalling me - "His disability check isn't in the bank yet." He used to volunteer to help DH when he was selling watermelons. Understand, he is "disabled", yet he hefted 30 and 40 pound watermelons as if they were loaves of bread. And the wife thinks DH should have been paying him for this work. We didn't ask him to be there - he was looking for something to do besides looking at the four walls and the TV. The wife used to get on the riding lawn mower, and mow the front lawn, and around the barn. We didn't ask her to do this, but DH would take a couple of hundred off the rent, because it made it easier on us. She has a full-time job as a
bookkeeper.
Apparently, it is more important to them to pay for 2 vehicles, plus renting washer/dryer, laptops, high-end stove, and high-end fridge - they weren't satisfied with the appliances that came with the house. I'm interested in what will happen when they move - the house came with a complete kitchen - it better be complete when they move out. I think they got the appliances from Rent-A-Center or Aarons, and I believe they will have first claim on the appliance.
