Ha! I've been up! We are putting together home fries, sasauge and eggs for breakfast. Then down to the beach. Later today more family arriving and we will take the boat out. I hope the girl isn't being overwhelmed with family.

Late sleeper here! Beautiful day though. Have to work this afternoon but only for four hours. Might throw a small pork roast into the crock pot before leaving. Can't decide if I want to sauce it up or leave it plain. That's my day! ;)
I got up around 9:30-10:00, I did the two loads laundry from our trip, Aaron and I took off what trash we had, then got groceries.
Came home, put stuff up, had a sandwich, and messing around the house.
I swear, I'm exhausted. I went to bed at 6 last night, only woke up twice before making myself get up this morning, and Im ready for a nap.
All that restaurant food from vacation has not agreed with me either.
Some bad news, our last day on vaca, my cousin called, she and her husband was on day 2 of their vaca in St, Augustine, Fl., he had a major heart attack and was in the hospital. Thankfully the doctors were able to help him, he has 3 or 4 stints and is resting. Then I find out that a friend's father died the 18th.

I absolutely HATE the month of August.
2004 DH went into congestive heart failure the 4th day of our move from NJ to Texas while in western Kentucky. Triple bypass, a new aortic valve, plus carotid artery "roto-rooter".
The morning he was released from the hospital, his mother, the dearest lady I've ever known, passed away. I had to make all the funeral arrangements in a strange town for the kindest woman I've ever known. She told her friends that the sun and moon should rise and set at my command.
3 years later, after contracting C-Diff, DH passed away after 22 days in hospice.
2013 Late DH's youngest daughter committed suicide.
2017 Both of my renters have not paid July or August rent. One is excusable - he had to have a pacemaker inserted July 5, and ha not been cleared to return to work. The other is just being an axxhole. I think (hope) they are looking for another place to rent.
I can hardly wait for September 1st!!!!!

I burned my feet out on the boat. That is all.
Fed about 20 people tonight, family and cottage friends. They are all off to the local home made ice cream place. I hung back and cleaned up. My prize is mint chocolate chip ice cream with fudge topping. 😂
