sigh, kept being woken up overnight by the 12YO crowd. DD had a few friends stay over and they have not slept. And I have to go to work.

I bought 5, and they all print out on one ticket. If we were going down columns instead of across, I would have had 5 numbers plus the PB #. But sadly, that's not the way it works.

I think Powerball should be played like bingo. Straight across, straight down, diagonal, four corners, etc. Wait, that might not work all the time. Hmmmmm Need to rethink this.

Just got back from the store. People are
CRAZY!!! Crazy, I tell you! There is not a
single bottle of water left in the store. Not.
a. single. one. Yes, I know we have some
severe weather headed our way, but come
on, people. Plan ahead! I had to go there
to pick up a couple of prescriptions, and
the lines were worse than the Wednesday
before Thanksgiving!

Whenever we have severe weather ahead
of us, the only thing I do is fill up both bath
tubs with cold water, in case our public water
system goes out. We can always flush the
toilets, and there is enough to at least rinse
off our plates and glasses. Our freezer is
full, with both cooked and raw materials,
so food is no problem.

One good thing is that we brought DH's boat
up from the fishing camp a couple of weeks
ago, so if needs be, we can go out and rescue
people.

Where are you, mom, where you would need a boat to rescue people? Are you expecting bad flooding?

Lol, this is every other day in the winter for the NE and snow predictions. It's as though people will think they will die if they don't have bread and milk available for three straight days.  Now booze lines?  That I get.

Some local forecasters are saying 18-24" of rain.
The ground just can't handle that much at one
time. We're 1.5 miles from a creek that ALWAYS
floods, yet some people are going to be stupid
enough to try to get across the bridge, even with
the barricades up. We can see the bridge with
binoculars, so we'll keep an eye out for the few
stupid ones.

Our boat has a very shallow draft, so we can get
in and out of places that bigger boats can't access.
Plus we have about six extra life jackets, so all
who are on board will have one. And we have
two full gas tanks on board, so we're set.

Wow, that actually is worse than snow.  At least the houses and such don't flood and we can stay inside safely.

Momala, I heard about the tropical storm heading your way. Glad you are well prepared! Now keep an eye out for the stupid. Then tell us the stories. ;)

Hit the road early this morning. Gosh, only got ONE cup of coffee as I flew out the door and down the road.

Thought I had ONE conference this morning.

I was wrong...

Somebody kill me now.

I bought a big bottle of orange juice. biggrin

Tomorrow, I'm on the road again...hmm

Any clue as to were those 3.8 minutes of peace went?

Buy yourself a good insulated travel coffee mug.  For all of us out on the highways I plead with you.  biggrin

Momala, ya'll be careful.

Just saw on our local weather we are predicted to get 28-35 inches of rain from that same storm.

We'll be flooded, too.

Good Evening! We built a huge sandbox and built a swing set right in the middle. It was a huge hit with the boys. Really sore from lifting up two toddlers onto swings and slides. They also thought it would be great fun to shovel sand down my back..Love those little monkeys.

Eta: stay safe momala
