I currently don't have a working printer at home. I have up-to-date resumes already printed but no cover letters. I have no way to download one to take to someplace like staples to print one. (I'm in sad shape hahaha) Would it be wrong to hand write a cover letter in today's business world? I don't have an email address either for me to just attach and send one along with my resume.
Oh, I guess I could type it there and then print! Duh! Two heads really are better than one! Especially a tired one. hahaha Thanks! Now, I just have to find the time between the two jobs.
Staple a donut to it before mailing or handing over.
Don't worry about a cover letter.

So, I decided to hand-write the cover letter and get the resume in the mail ASAP. A customer who came through my line at the PT job mentioned that's where she worked. I don't think they were even looking for anyone but wanted to just get the resume on file "in case". I hadn't seen any ads for them in the Help Wanted section of the paper.
Anyway, I did the letter and put the resume in the mail yesterday. Today, I got a phone call from a woman in their HR department and we have scheduled an interview for Tuesday morning. I was shocked to get an immediate response. I didn't even think the resume would be delivered until tomorrow at the earliest. lol
