I am going to dd's open house at school tonight but blowing off the first hour and half of it. No way am I sitting in the gym with hundreds of people sweating and listening to a boring speech.

Received an amazing gift in the mail. Someone very special sent me pre-cut quilting pieces. My heart is thrilled! Wish I could hug that person!

My hospital is now in medical evacuation. Sending all the patients elsewhere and closing down. I'm not leaving town till Sunday. Praying this storm turns or something.

I may leave late Sat. We will see what happens tomorrow. Vacation was supposed to start Monday. I don't have to be back to work until the 19th. At least I will have lots of time to for cleanup.
