Good morning, peeps! UGH! Do I have to go to work? Ok, ok, I will but I am not happy about it. Thankfully, it's only the one job today.

Make it a good one! biggrin

I'm up. Didn't want to be, but we had to take my car to a repair shop for a new windshield. Then they called and said the company sent the wrong windshield..

See where my day is heading?

And, it's STILL raining!

Hope you all have a better day.

Took the day off. Had a rough night with #2 and his cold. He seemed better in the morning and went to school. I'm going to stop and pick up sandwiches and take them to school and have lunch with the boys. A way to check up on #2 to see how he's doing.

I left for store and saw neighbor's nanny walking the baby. Then on another street I saw neighbor walking her dog. In my opinion, this woman has her priorities all wrong.

Why did she have a kid if she doesn't want to spend time with it?

Can we bitch slap her?

Maybe the nanny won't or can't take care of dogs.

And it wasn't in her job description.

Is this a regular thing? Or is it an I need 5 minutes to myself thing?

Had a terrible time getting to sleep last night, so many things battling for attention in my brain.

Having a nanny would have been the greatest thing at times.

FS, how much longer will you have to keep both jobs? It's exhausting.

It's a regular thing.  The nanny lives with them.

That's pretty much how I feel.

Don't get me wrong, I think it's wonderful to have help.   Help.  Having a live-in nanny is nice if you work, then nanny gets the evening and weekends off when parent is home.  But I've been to the home.  Nanny is 24/7.  Why bother having children?

As long as I want to. With the FT job, I really don't need to have the PT one but I don't want to give up the PT job because when I retire (hopefully next year in the second quarter), I'll have the PT job to supplement my SS. I can't see myself ever sitting home and not working at least PT, even after I retire so . . .

Honestly, what's more exhausting is trying to come to terms with my co-workers attitude and sense of she is all that and then some. Her loudness, her shrill of a voice that grates on my last nerve, singing and dancing and looking around to see who's watching, and her thinking what she wants is how it has to be, like my not being able to wear perfume or use my body lotion because it irritates her. Well, her smells of food and drinks and hair products irritate me but I haven't said anything. Although if she keeps it up, I will. I did mention today that her cup of coffee was a horrid smell and gave me a headache. She continued to drink it and sit it by me. THAT will be the main reason I retire or find another job. lol UGH! She just thinks she's on top of everything but makes a ton of mistakes throughout the day.

Oh well . . .

I would've loved to have help when raising mine. But, that wasn't in the stars. I made it through with lots of gray hair to show for it.

I know the type. Find a way to help her hang herself.

Or learn to ignore her.

Wear your perfume, unless there is a company policy against it, of course.

Oh I plan to help her hang herself. lol There is no company policy regarding the perfume but I've been there for six days and have been told about three times by the Asst. Branch Mgr. with today being the third time. So, when this prima donna got her flavored coffee and sat it a foot from me, I quickly covered my nose and said how awful it smelled. Ten minutes later, I complained about a headache. There is always more than one way to skin a cat. I'll get my digs in and see how she likes it. As for the perfume, I may not literally squirt it on me but next time I do laundry, I'll be spraying it in the dryer to make sure my clothes smell like my perfume. That way I can say I didn't spray it on me! :o) Two can play this game! I'll just go about it more quietly. lol

My favorite show - TBBT premiered tonight for season 11! So far, it's off with a bang. Cannot wait to see how the season will play out. Young Sheldon also premiered tonight but the second episode won't be till November. I'm loving it so far. Iain Armitage is perfect in his role of Sheldon.
