Two and a half hours sleep is not going to cut it for a 14-hour work day with two of those spent driving in rush-hour traffic. UGH! Just couldn't turn off the mind. Won't be back 'til around 10:30 tonight.
Tuesday isn't starting off well for you two. So sorry.
On a happy note, this my Thursday since I work today and tomorrow and then off for a long weekend.

Lucky you! I have to work through it. Family wedding this weekend. Gotta be the boss here while my brother runs around. Father of the bride! I need to send him for his suit today. LOL My SIL knows I'm on it.
I'm off today. #1 had a space retainer put in, and since I can't telework during September, they can stick it. They meaning the powers that made this stupid rule.
Good morning! No little man today. I need a break he was a cranky little boy yesterday. I think he is getting his molers, so it's most likely what is making him cranky.
FS, hope the day goes fast for you. You need a break.
Trudy, being sick at work is no fun. AND you are on top of things for your brother. You rock.
Lindley, hope little man is better the next time you have him. Yeah, those molars always hurt the poor little ones and make them crabby. I would be crabby too.
FNW, enjoy your day off!
IKWTDS, you always have a positive outlook. One of the things I love about you!
Started making the quilt sandwich for second DGS's quilt this morning. Squeezed two backs out of that piece of muslin. That was close, a bit too close. DGD would of had to wait for hers to be finished if I hadn't of made that work. Gosh. Next time I will buy a big piece!

Faith isn't something that keeps bad things from happening. Faith is what helps us get through bad things when they do happen.
Finished putting up the fall decor. Then the school called and #1 was in pain and I needed to bring tylenol for him. His brother was very worried about him. Finishing up watching my soaps then I'll take a dip before they get home.

The stupid tailor forgot about them! I said they better be ready tomorrow or he'll face me. Made a hair appointment for him.
A flock of flirting flamingos is pure, passionate, pink pandemonium-a frenetic flamingle-mangle-a discordant discotheque of delirious dancing, flamboyant feathers, and flamingo lingo.
Week 2 at Casa In-laws. No complaints. Watching Fuller House and waiting for DH to get off work. Need to do the last two lessons for the week in my Bible study and my daily Bible reading. Also need to find where the sandwich baggies went to. I've moved so much in the past 2 months that I'm not sure which end is up anymore.
Well. Just got back from spending 4ish hours in the ER with DS. He fractured his foot. He was pretending to be a super hero and took a flying leap off grandma's bed. Not the first time he's jumped off the bed (and the couch, table, etc.) but he finally understands why everyone tells him to NOT do that. The ER splinted it. I have to call the orthopedist in the morning.
The next 4-6 weeks are going to be a blast! Ever try to keep a tornado stationary?

When the splint/cast starts to itch (and believe
me, it will!), here's a method to control the
irritation.
Take an old fashioned turkey baster (the kind
with a rubber bulb at the end) and put plain
cornstarch in the bulb; reattach it to the tube;
insert the tube into the top of the cast/splint,
and squirt away. The cornstarch will absorb
any moisture and sooth the irritation.
To keep the ribbed fabric at the top of the
cast looking good, take an old sock (larger
than the one Superhero would wear), cut the
ribbing and about 2-3" of the plain part, slide
it up the cast to the top. Stretch the ribbing
over the top of the cast, and tuck the plain
part down into the inside. Washable and
changeable at a moment's notice.
Also, if he needs a hard cast, ask about having a waterproof one put on. It will help at bath time. Just make sure to drain the water out after each bath.

You're telling me! He's been collecting bruises since he figured out he can run. Love that kid but goodness he gives me gray hairs!
He's not complaining of pain today. He is, however, making sure everyone knows you need TWO legs to walk so he needs carried. Stinker!
Two of his friends are having their birthday party this weekend. I messaged their mom to let her know DS will be there but won't be able to run around. She said she'll make sure he gets to participate as much as possible. They're doing a pinata too and she said when it breaks, she'll make sure he gets his share of the candy. We'll be there too but good to know DS will at least 2 other adults helping him participate.
