Good morning! Why do family members always seem to disappoint us? I've been discussing this move with DS for a month now, maybe longer. I finally have a move in date (the 31st) and have until the 15th to vacate my present apartment. So, I plan to schedule picking up the moving truck the 11th / 12th to move over that weekend. I'm hoping to get nephew and some of his friends to help. But, like I said, I've been telling DS about it for awhile. This morning, I IMd him to tell him the definite moving date and he now informs me that his wife has a doctor's appt at 11:00 a.m. on the 11th an hour and a half away. I know that this appt was probably scheduled awhile ago; it's not something that just happened. UGH! I'm so tired of not being able to count on him. *sigh*
It was a very windy night around here. The wind was whipping up to 50 mph throughout the night. Three lines of supposedly severe thunderstorms were to move through but I must've slept through it all, which is unusual for me. Or, we didn't get the severe rains they were calling for. It's still somewhat windy out there this morning.
I should go do more packing but the wind has been depleted from my sails thanks to DS. I have to get up and get a move on though. It needs to get done. LOL Hope everyone has a great day!
I'm sorry FS🌷 Can his wife go to her appointment alone? The only time my husband ever went was a few (very few) appts when I was Pregnant, and times when I was sick.

Oh no! His wife has more excuses as to why she can't do things alone, one of which is she supposedly falls asleep when driving, yet she drives to her parents all the time, which is a two + hour drive one way. It's okay. I'll dig up help one way or another. If not, I'll pay a mover to come in and get it done.
