Maybe it's because I grew up near there, but everyone always knew about the "casting couch." I don't know why this is so shocking.

I hadn't heard about the pedophile thing, but that is not surprising to me either. Part of my mother's job with the PD was to look at under aged porn and identify the victims so they could try to bust up these child porn rings. She used to see a lot of famous people who got their start that way and they weren't 18. Ugh.

To me they are worse then W. Who has been exposed. A adult should be able to tell a producer to stuff it, but a child not so much. I think that is one reason why a lot of them grow up into screwed up adults, the ones whose parents protected them and watched over them did much better.
