She found this formal dress she fell in love with. It's beautiful, soft pink with an embroidered floral tulle overlay. She wanted it so bad, and I said no b/c it was $100 and fit her PERFECTLY right now and they didn't have the next size up. There's no way it would still fit in 6 months for her 8th grade formal. She begged me to find it elsewhere - it's been about 2 months.
Today, I walked into the store and it was in the clearance section an additional 70% off. So I thought, for $30, I'll get the one bigger one they had and have it altered to fit. When I got to the register, it rang up for $15 bucks. So, I bought both the size that fits (5/6) and the bigger one (11/12). Whichever one she wears, we'll use the fabric from the other to make sleeves or a little jacket since it is strapless.
She's gonna love me. What can I get out of this?

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.
A flock of flirting flamingos is pure, passionate, pink pandemonium-a frenetic flamingle-mangle-a discordant discotheque of delirious dancing, flamboyant feathers, and flamingo lingo.
I gave her the dresses last night. First, I had to pick her up at her friend's house and she actually brought up the dress. I told her I would continue looking for it and what would I get if I found it? We settled on spas every week for 3 months and 3 extra chores - no arguing.
Then, when we got home, I gave her the dresses. She was ecstatic! They are hanging in a doorway and in the hall and she hugs them as she walks past. LOL!
My phone is dead - I'll get pictures in a bit.
