Where's FNW? Had a dream that she and I were at a dinner party but we were behaving badly and having a ball.
I'm dizzy and yucky today. Not terrible, just enough to be annoying.
Good news, a new episode of Supernatural is on tonight.
Happy Thursday.

Ugh! Kids are rambunctious today, grandson already had 4 timeouts, have to make two pans of lasagna, having 14 boys and 4 leaders over the weekend and in the midst of that have to pack to leave Sunday to see the grandgirls.
Wow, Lindley, you are one busy lady! Are the timeouts not working? Some day's, boy's will be boy's. I swear, I do not know how they survive to adulthood.
LOL, Lily. Sounds like a fun dream with FNW. Sorry you are dizzy today.
The big quilt is 3/4 quilted! Yay! Gosh, that is a lot of material to work through a machine..

Do you see a theme?
Faith isn't something that keeps bad things from happening. Faith is what helps us get through bad things when they do happen.
Czech, I did have to end up spanking him a little. I can't tolerate ignoring me, more for his own safety. I think he is still over excited from Halloween and his favorite little person I babysit once a week is here. Plus our whole house is covered with ladybugs or a beetle that looks like them, ugh!
How old is the rambunctious tike? Can you include him in what you have to do?
Maybe take him outside to play a bit. Burn some energy off.

That is what little man tried to do this past weekend. Nasty, just nasty.
One swat to the bottom is not going to permanently injure him, doing something dangerous and getting a swat to stop is okay in my book.
Watch, a whole new thread will magically appear on this subject.
I agree. A couple swats to get their attention and drive your "NO" home is sometimes needed.

Oh he did get a swat or two. He just turned two. He gotten some candy for Halloween and until now has never eaten any sweets. His mommy is giving him only one treat per day so I don't think he is use to the sugar rush, plus he is testing his boundaries. Both of them may be sensing my stress level. I need just to take a deep breath, I know it will be alright.
Lindley - Boys can be so lovable but they will test us to the ends of our patience and back again. DS earned himself 2 spankings today. Spanking isn't our first discipline option. It is, however, one tool in our arsenal and the most effective one at immediately stopping bad behavior when other discipline methods have failed.
