happy Election Day all! Make sure to get out and vote.

I will vote at lunch, big plus of the small town. Everything is close and it’s rarely too busy.

I am a little disappointed in Google today. They have a doodle celebrating Pad Thai today. I like pad thai too, but that’s what they choose for Election Day? Come on google, I expect better from your doodles.

On the road again in a few..

Have a good one folks.

IKWTDS, glad you are feeling better.

DG, it's an off year here, so no voting in this state.

I mail in my ballots.

At work my crew is doing secret Santa and there was one guy I did not want to draw because he would be impossible to shop for. Yeah, that didn't work out so well. But it's a challenge!

Good luck LGS!

Hope everyone is feeling better and wish you all to have a great day. I'm in the process of emptying out closets. I should take it all right to the Salvation Army as I haven't touched any of it since I moved in here 18 months ago. hahaha but, I'll take it along to the new place and sort through it all there. Yesterday, I yanked my lower back a bit so today is tough moving around and trying to get the Jeep loaded. UGH But, I'll push through it since well, it's just me yet again. hahaha

Okie dokie, off I go.  sYTSIOupm0blGQVEBJvm.gif  Have a great day!

Dad is in the hospital. He was dizzy yesterday and drove himself to the Urgent Care. He had gone there twice last week. His hear rate was off so sent by ambulance to the ER. He is 86. I just talked to him, he sounds good, waiting on a few more tests. He does have blockages in his neck arteries. So glad he didn't wait to go to the hospital. He should be fine.

Age. He has a very strong heart, had always swum in the ocean, ran, biked, active.  Not so much in the past few years. It's a blockage and if that is taken care of he should be fine.

Thanks everyone.

Glad your dad went to, IKWTDS.

LGS, how many terms have you served?

FS, take that stuff to SA! Stop dragging baggage!

Vette, sausage of the month club! For your secret santa.

Trudy, you need me to bring the back hoe? Cause I will!

Have a good day, Czech and DG.

We went from blue skies and tons of sunshine to black skies and storms in less than 5 minutes. It was a quick moving storm but it ain't going away for a while.

Happy Tuesday!

We had a couple big state issues, a couple County levies, 1 county commissioner, and school board. I was in and out in about 5 minutes.

Spending my afternoon sorting out a scheduling snafu. I scheduled my trucks as usual, but someone else moved their deliveries which bumped my people out of line. Then the thing we use to load isn’t working right. It’s a big ol mess. If anyone needs me, I’ll be under my desk eating leftover Halloween candy

Oh Lord. I was dealing with the worst customer service today, and you could hear my displeasure in my voice (I was NOT yelling, but you could hear it), and this lady that just walked up told the clerk what a great job he was doing, and scolded me for being upset with him. WTH? Apparently, even though I explained the situation to him, and he IGNORED me completely, it was "not his fault".

Is today over yet? I just want it to be over. I want to soak in a nice hot bath forever and ever and ever. Did I mention for ever! Sounds like we're all having an off day today. UGH

The sleeting turned to snow! So much so and such big flakes that it was hard to see the mountains in the not so far away distance. OMG! It's still coming down. Big, wet, heavy, soaking snow flakes. Temperature dropped to 33*. The snow is sticking to things like roofs, cars trees but thankfully not the roads . . . yet! I did see a few DOT salt trucks out. LOL I can't believe it's snowing as hard as it is. So funny to see this time of year. I'm thinking 2017 / 2018 is going to be one wicked winter.

I did get one load moved. And it was a very heavy load too. Some of it I couldn't lift and just had to drag. I laid on the living room floor at the new place for almost an hour. My lower back is screaming at me. UGH!

Off to make something for dinner. Not sure what and really don't care at this point. hahaha

Aaaaahhhhh! So tomorrow, I lose my HUGE cubicle, (replaced by my HUGE office :( ) to my workstation (We are ALL going to workstations)...BUT...my station is the envy of the workforce. It's in a fffaaarrrrrr back corner, with a huge window. And if you want to see me, you have to go by 8 people. So, I'm making the best of it.

Congrats, LGSS! Wow, I can't believe you have already served 4 years! Good job!

IKWTDS, glad your dad sounds like he will be okay!

FWM, if you are reading, how's that little granddaughter doing?

And just an FYI, I have hidden to eat Halloween candy too.

And, I had to travel in a light mist with a temp of 29 degrees. My car kept telling me to use caution for icy conditions. I hate black ice...

Hot chocolate and bed are next on my list. FS, hope you have a restful night at least.

O4, you make a corner cubicle sound awesome. :)

Lindley, the ugly tummy bug is making it's rounds around here as well. Poor kids.

DG, did the Boy get the kid out?

Hi Lily and LL! And TRUDY!!!

My Eastern Star chapter had its annual
Spaghetti Dinner fund-raiser this evening
- spaghetti, meat sauce, garlic bread,
salad, dessert, and iced tea for $7.00 a
plate. Not bad. We served over 150
plates. I made a HUGE salad - 2 kinds
of lettuce, home-ripened tomatoes,
carrots, celery, and thin slices of red
onion. Used 5 large heads of romaine,
and 4 large (heavy) heads of iceberg,
which filled a deep catering water pan.
