The stores have been offering cyber monday and black friday deals for a week or so now. I am doing pretty good with shopping so far. Just a few things to pick up and I'll be done.
I tell ya, having someone visiting and sleeping on a couch for 5 days can make the whole house feel out of sorts.
Even Monster has chilled out.
My to do list for this afternoon, take off the trash, get some gas, buy groceries.
I've got a few more things to get then I'm done with Christmas shopping.

Having someone sleeping in my guest room for two nights can make the house feel out of sorts. It's nice to visit, but it's wonderful to have my house back. #1 was asleep the moment his head hit the pillow.
Yes! We actually had a nice visit. She helped out in the kitchen, and helped decorate the tree that has all her mother's ornaments on it. I thought she might enjoy seeing the ornaments she gave me after MIL died. The boys seemed to warm up to her more, too.
I checked on line to see if Bed Bath and
Beyond had my SS main item in stock.
Yep, they do, so off I go for a 45 minute
drive. Get to the area in the store where
it should be, and there is a great big
gaping hole where the shelf tag says it
should be. I finally locate an employee,
and ask if it has been relocated. Nope,
they've been out of stock for the last two
weeks!!!!! Grrrrrrr.
Well, look at your computer and tell me
if any of your other stores have it in
stock. OK, one of the other stores "has
it in stock". Now call that store and have
one of their salespeople get it and bring
it to Customer Service - I'll drive directly
there and purchase it.
Ooops, they can't find it. So much for
updating their own computers. I've driven
an hour and a half, to no avail. I finally find
a manager in the second store, and tell him
my tale of woe. He gets on the phone with
the manager of another store in the area,
and determines that yes, they do have the
item in stock, and on display on the floor.
Third store manager gets it, and puts it on
his desk, and tells Manager #2 to have me
ask for him directly.
