That's all I got today. Just learned my uncle's long time girlfriend (I considered her to be my aunt) passed away last summer. Her husband (she remarried after my uncle died in 1997) called to tell us.
He said he was going through her address book and remembers her talking fondly of me. I suspect he was writing Christmas cards. Hers was always the first one I would receive, on the day after Thanksgiving. I wondered why I had not received one this year yet. Now I know.
My younger cousin, she is 2 weeks older than Jesse, is 27 weeks pregnant and in the hospital. She began having contractions Sunday, the doctors finally got them stopped yesterday. She is dilated to 7. She is staying in the hospital, on complete bed rest until the baby is born.
Her older sister, this one is just a few months younger than Caitlyn, is also pregnant. They were supposed to have a joint baby showed this weekend. This Momma and baby are fine, but now she doesn't want to celebrate her baby because her sister is fighting to keep hers.
It's sad.

Lily, that is rough for the mother. She must be terribly worried. Baby showers can be done after a baby is born. That should not be even a consideration.

I Googled survival rate for a baby born at 27 weeks. Survival rate is 90% but will be in a nicu for quite awhile. Prayerfully they can prevent her from going into labor.
Well. I have a new cousin, he weighs 2 pounds. Mother is doing well, baby is doing well. He was born in the sack. The doctor ruptured it after he was born.
