TOTALLY GEEKED!

Happy first day of winter. Snow tomorrow and on Christmas!

It will be a quiet day at the office....I hope.

I set out a meat and cheese box I got from a customer. Our policy on this stuff kind of sucks. *I* put all the hard work into the relationship with the customer all year, but I’m not allowed to keep the tin of nuts that comes at Christmas. I have to report the gift and put it out for everyone or HR takes it and it gets raffled off once a quarter.

That stinks, DG!

It's the first day of winter, and sunny and 75 is what we are going to get.

It's going to turn cold tomorrow. We might get a little snow Christmas Eve.

But, I won't count on it.

I want to get the bulk of the groceries today.

And, the presents wrapped.

That's my goal.

Damn, it's freezing here! Snow flurries are expected later today. Ugh.

Today is an easy day for us. Need to take DH to PT this morning and then spend the rest of the day packing and relaxing.

Tomorrow we travel to DH's surgeon for a checkup and then on to DS's home. I plan on going to see the new Star Wars movie while in Omaha on Saturday. I can hardly wait!

The grandgirls are so excited! They already lined up all the presents across the living room and checking out their gifts. Love them so much 💕

Tomorrow is a holiday for us, so today is the last day before the holiday. Happy vibes going on. I just ordered lunch, I still have a balance at the club I need to spend before the end of the year. So we’re blowing it on lunch today. Yum.

AWESOME!!!!

We close 1/2 tomorrow.  And then we are closed until January 2nd.  Man, I love this company! 

And Festivus is Saturday. So I got a pole, and we are going to have airing of grievances and feats of strength! LOL!

I asked my boss what a certain material is on my inventory sheet. She was explaining the process and how it’s stuff left over from another process and I go, so it’s like the crumbly stuff from long John silvers? She looks at me for a beat and says, yeah, I guess it is.

I'm really debating whether to work overtime tomorrow. I'm on a hot project plus I need the money. But... sleeping in!

 Just so you know, he was there when I put the stuff in the bag without the tag. And I said to him, “this is for Sonny, Corgi is sending some of his favorite things”. In 14 hours, he has apparently forgotten that conversation lol

Baking sugar cookies with grandgirls and going to let them decorate later. No intention of serving them at my party since the little one has the sniffles but at least they are having fun cutting shapes into it and decorating them.

I ended up doing laundry, instead of wrapping presents.

But, that's fine. The weather is supposed to turn cold, with rain, tomorrow. A good day to be inside, wrapping presents.

(Right? See how I rationalize these things? LOL!)

I just need to remember to leave a note on the front door. "Wayne, take Belle to work...leave Kermit for Mere and Paul, so they can finish their Christmas shopping!"

Mere and Paul can't drive a stick. They need Kermit. (I apologize in advance to Belle. You can survive Wayne driving you, for a day. You won't like it, but, you will survive!)
