Our Christmas thunderstorms are rolling through. Thunder shakes the house.
Nephew is being obnoxious. I swear, I'm gonna pinch his head off.
FWM, you're killing it this year. Good for you!

It's our Christmas! And our anniversary...and Festivus...
My sister called late last night to tell me that mother was sick and I needed to check on her because she was at a Christmas party. Called mother and she said if I came out there, she wouldn't let me in. Well, this morning her phone was off the hook. So I drove out to check on her. She's doing better, so good in fact, that today is the first day she has been able to smoke in 5 days. Sheesh mother...

Nephew left. He won't be back til Monday. The house is so much more calm.
Brother and niece is still here.
The house looks like a storms hit it.
I swear, I'm really, seriously, thinking about not being here next year at Christmas.

Had breakfast with a friend. Wandered around downtown. Went to a little beach on the river. Grocery shopping. Got my sauce started. Now we are just relaxing.

Wayne and Jupiter delivered Jupiter's gift to Mr. Jim and Miss Marlene. (I have another gift coming for them. I ordered a bunch of dog treats from Chewys. We'll drop them off when they come in. Jim and Marlene are in their 80's. We want to help out, with all the dog treats that they pass out to the neighborhood pooches.)
A good day, today.
And, Paul works 9 to 5 tomorrow. So I can have Christmas Eve Dinner at 5:30, or so. Yeehaw!
The last tray of meatballs is in the oven. The turkey is ready to come out of the pot - probably going to need my dad's assistance with that task. Then I'll add more water and simmer the broth a bit longer. The tomatoes are cooked and ready to be made into sauce. Still a lot of work to do, but I'm making solid progress today. I want to have as much done today as I can, so I can relax and enjoy tomorrow. All I should have left for tomorrow is the stuff for Christmas Eve dinner
