One of my chili cook-off friends just
delivered a copy of the up-coming
issue of Terlingua Trails, the semi-
monthly newspaper for the Chili
Appreciation Society International,
which is distributed worldwide. It
lists all of the cook-offs for the
following three months for the entire
United States. The Board member
who interviewed me a couple of
weeks ago thought he'd get a quarter
of a page, or maybe even a third, if
he was lucky.
His article covered the ENTIRE FRONT
PAGE ! !
Oh my goodness, I'm still getting
goose-bumps. We're going to have
to prepare for a humongous cook-off
this spring (which is a good thing, as
this is our fund-raiser for our
scholarship program.
