They announced last week the Kmart in my town is closing. My cousin and I went to check out the deals. Nothing great yet. Then went to Big Lots for their 20% off day. Scored a nice tv stand for $150. And now I am staring at a box containing more parts than I can count. The instructions say it takes 1 hour 15 minutes to assemble. I estimate I should be done around Easter.

Be patient. When ours went out of business they brought in a bunch of over priced crap first. It was junk, stuff they don't normally sell. A lot of times the prices of the discounted stuff was higher than it would be if it were on sale. I waited until the last week and got a really nice outdoor table and chairs for about $100.

I bought some everyday stuff that I would buy anyways....it was just 20% off. restocked on command strips for example.
Our Kmart closed this month. The closing was announced before Christmas.
I never went.
