Jojo has a friend over. They are JUST alike, and between the two of them, more energy than 6 puppies. They are exhausting and CONSTANTLY have to be doing something new. I'm taking them to the aquatic center later - I hope some swimming will wear them out!

Hi everyone! Did my errands and just brought the dog for a long overdue walk. With all the ice and cold here he hasn't gotten out much. It's 50 but still icy in the shady spots. Going to go out in a bit, but for now just cleaning.

Good afternoon everyone! One of our church members died and had his funeral today, some ladies and myself cooked a meal for the family after the service.
Been a long day. Couldn't sleep last night, hurt too much. Went out with mom. Ended up at Walmart to buy groceries. I hate buying groceries there. Too many people, high prices, shelves annoyingly high.
Anyway.
Got to spend time with Caitlyn this afternoon.
I'm ready for bed.

Was asked to drive up to a chili
cook-off - 45 miles away. No big
deal. Absolutely FABULOUS cups
o' red. I judged at the Finals table.
35 chilies, 17 of which got to the
Finals table. It was almost impossible
to differentiate among the cups - they
were all sooo good. By winning today,
the first place winner qualified to cook
at Terlingua - the WORLD championship.
In your supermarkets, if you ever come
across a chili "mix" called Terlingua, get
it! It's the best around! Uses 2# of
beef, and it tastes even better two or
three days later.
