Happy Tuesday everyone! This time next week, I will be on a plane headed for warm weather! SOOOOO much to do between now and then. Still need to but a few pairs of sandals and a couple more shorts. And get a mani/pedi. ARGH!

Feel better peeps! Nephew was admitted to the hospital last night. Suspected flu but has other things going on.
O4 it's always hard finding warm weather things when you are someplace cold. Perhaps shop when you get there?
Going to Cozumel on a cruise. We are going to Ft. Lauderdale a day early to see some friends. G's gonna play golf. I'm going to lay out by the pool for a couple of days. Cruise leaves on Thursday.

My sister was admitted too. They thought is was flu, but it not. She has some sort of other viral infection.

DD and I were in the car as the radio said the east coast is bracing for a severe winter storm. In unison we both said "Not us" and laughed maniacally. Yep. She's mine.
I think people are freaking out of the flu. Every little sniffle or cough is presumed to be flu.
I think there is reason to this year. G and I are almost the only people we know that haven't gotten it. It was horrible here at work. I had strep, though. 4 of the grandbabies had it, one was in the hospital for a couple of days. They closed schools here because over 33% of the students had it.

My nightmare neighbor who is a nurse is going crazy and she thinks she has it. Wants all the condo hallways cleaned because that is where she got it. I can't stand the wacko.
There are four strains going around. Several people (locales) have tested positive for two versions at the same time. Yeah, they ended up in the hospital.
Trudy, the nurse may not be as crazy as you think. Tests have been done this year that proves one of the flu virus's is airborne. That's scary.
Our clinics are out of the flu vaccine and can not get anymore.
We are trying to stay close to home. Well, we were, until tonight. Have to go watch youngest DGD dance during the halftime show at our local basketball game.
Sigh, we need masks...
Tired of the cold. Tired of the snow (more coming), tired of winter, period.

FUN!!!! We want to take the grandkids...but we want to take all of them, and well, they just haven't stopped coming yet!
kind of wanted to wait till all the grandkids were old enough, but my oldest who is really into princesses and would be the right age for the salon That makes little girls into princesses this would be the perfect time to take her. I have a feeling I will make another trip in a few years since my son and wife want at least 3 kids.
We want to take DS to Disney World in a few years. I'm hoping Kennedy Space Center will still be open for visitors when we go. I'm thinking the summer between third and fourth grades would be perfect.
We're planning a summer-long trip to hit the major historical sites and battlefields during the summer between 6th and 7th grades. 7th grade is when American History is taught in AZ and I want him to see everything he'll be learning about. We'll also visit museums and other points of interest. When I was in school, 8th graders took a trip to the Capitol. I don't know if AZ schools do the same thing.
