I just bought the first season of the crown, you can get the dvd set. I'm so excited to watch it. I believe Prince Philip has a reputation of being stern and boorish, but who really knows and from what I read the queen really loves him.

Another good one on Netflix is "Reign" about Mary Queen of Scots reign. Also binge worthy!
I started that one, but it takes a little bit too much liberty with history for me!

Unfortunately I don't have Prime but I'll find something to settle on. lol
I really enjoyed Reign. I just wish it hadn't got cancelled. It had years of story left.
The Tudors is another good one. Tends to speed through some parts, but still a good watch. A bit gruesome at times.

I agree. It seems at least 50% of the show focuses on sex and nudity. Not sure I'll continue watching. Hopefully I can find something else to catch my eye.
Yeah, there was a lot of sex in Tudors. But then again, Henry was a horndog and he did have syphilis.

Took me a minute, but man, she killed that role.
I think I liked Catherine more than the rest of them.

I loved The Crown. I watched both seasons as soon as they came out. It's really fascinating and has taught me a lot about the monarchy. I love Netflix. Some of their shows are very educational. Narcos was a good one also. I had no idea all that was going on back when I was in high school. I had no clue who Pablo Escobar was. Now I do. lol!
