Spring cleaning has begun. I cleaned out the linen closet in my bathroom and purged and cleaned and straightened all out. Off to BB&B soon to look for containers to hold some of the small items.

So we are getting a new girl on our crew and my bosses approached me asking me if that was okay. How sad is that? First, it's not high school. And second, I would WELCOME some estrogen on the crew! I just hope she's nice!

Was at the flea market at 10 til 7 this morning. Didn't do as well as I had hoped.
I did learn some things. Made a little money.
But the cold, damp weather has turned me into a barely walking hunch back with a pronounced limp. Pain staying at a level 5.
I did take a nap, and I'm making burgers for dinner.
I know I'll be in bed before 10 tonight.

I learned this flea market is not the place for my bows, for one thing.
There were 3 others selling bows along with other things. Their bows were plain, poorly put together, and they priced them at 1 to 2 dollars.
Mine are stitched, glued when needed, multilayed, and the hardware is finished.
The majority of my bows are $4. Some lower, a few higher, but I feel they are worth it.

Well people in the market for bows will be able to tell the difference between low quality and high quality. You should have a framed ad on your table with description of the customization you do such as the stitched, multi layered and finished HW. That will grab people's interest.

I think next time, I'm going to take my stuff and make them there. People love to watch things being made.
If I can get the right place, I think it'll be great.
Oh, gosh!
The local Prater's Mill fair! It's a huge craft fair. I almost forgot about that!

Way too expensive and it's invitation only, after you pay to apply to be considered. Then it's over $300 for the booth, registration, and park fees.

I just received the nicest note and
photo from Fr. Chuck about the
flowers I arranged for his late wife's
services last Sunday. I had to buy
the flowers on Friday at the wholesale
market, drive 87 miles to Church, and
arrange them there. I then put them
in the refrigerator, to save them for
Sunday. They took up the entire
bottom of the commercial size fridge.
I couldn't be there because I was
conducting the Chili Cook-off on
Saturday and Sunday.
The picture he sent showed the flowers
in his living room - and they looked
absolutely great - no droopy heads.
That was such a gracious thing for
him to do.

Yes the big ones are pricey. You have to be selling pricey stuff to make it worth your while. Perhaps another time group bows together so you are selling a package of, say 3, for $10. Or conversely, advertise any three for $10 or $4 each.

You did a wonderful job, Momala.
It's so nice that he appreciated your efforts.
Well done!
And it is fantastic he took such wonderful care of those flowers.
