What can I do to stop bored eating? I am constantly eating something and I'm sick of it! I'm not even hungry most of the time. I already cut sugary drinks out of my diet (which was huge) but now I need to work on the food half. Do you guys have any tips or tricks?

Was it a bad day?
Or was it a bad five minutes that you milked all day?

Almonds. Buy low salt almonds. Good snack and high protein.

Why are you bored? I mean when do you find yourself snacking the most? When i buy a bag of carrots I peel the whole bag and cut them up into sticks. Makes for a nice quick snack. Same with grapes. I destem and wash them. I have snap peas that are ready to eat. Try to have a lot of prepared, ready to eat veggies. Very filling and nice crunch.
Nuts are also a good choice. But, i would keep that to a small handful. Sometimes i will cut up a slice of cheese into tiny pieces and for some reason, just having a small piece while surfing the net,etc is very satisfying
I think it is a matter of just making a few changes. When you are bored, instead of eating, how about cleaning out a drawer or something like that? Try shifting the focus of your boredom from eating to something else like that.
When I'm bored, I clean something or do something.

There is a great difference between
the two of them.
If you're mouth hungry, get something
that crunches in your mouth, like celery
or some sort of crackers. If you are
stomach hungry, get something that
will fill your tummy, like egg drop soup,
or something very light like soup or
broth.
Be sure you are not flushing out things you need by drinking too much water.
What you are gravitating to when munching probably has something in it you need.
I eat a lot of bananas, strawberries, tomatoes, and other potassium rich things because I crave them and my body needs it.
When I'm craving salty or tangy things, it's the sodium or magnesium I need.
Pay attention to what you are munching, it's important to know what your body is needing.
Oh, and orange juice. I can't seem to get enough oranges or orange juice.

I dont' crave sweets as much anymore. I used to be a chocolate fiend but once I had my hysterectomy, I think they took out my chocolate receptors! lol. I seem to crave salty, crunchy more now.
I like to make what i call a "junk salad". Which is a small bit of whatever I have on hand tossed into my salad. I usually take that for lunch everyday. To my lettuce i add a few dried cranberries, some pecans or walnuts or whatever nuts i have on hand. Then i dice up a carrot, celery, some snap peas, i toss in some frozen peas( i defrost them first), and other veggies,
shred a bit of cheese, dice up a bit of ham or whatever meat, and sprinkle pepper or Mrs Dash on it. Then i just take my dressing along to work and I really don't need a lot to make this taste good. I get a big serving of my veggies for the day.
And, since i try to have my celery, carrots and other veggies already prepped and available this makes it so much easier for me to put together a nice salad in the morning.
I have found that really organizing my kitchen, refrig and freezer has really helped me eat a lot better and more healthy. I always keep frozen skinless, chicken breasts and some steaks on hand in the freezer. Then for a quick meal if i am needing some protein, it's a simple thing to just defrost and saute some meat in a skillet. I keep bags of frozen veggies on hand. Yeah, fresh may be better, but i rarely will eat a whole fresh head of broccoli so i keep bags of frozen in the freezer. I have frozen peas, broccoli, brussel sprouts, etc and then it's handy and ready to use.
For my fruit, veggie, cheese drawers, i keep those very clean. And, I take the fruit out of the grocery plastic and have it my fruit bin and it looks much nicer and more appetizing.
I love the feeling of being hungry. It's so much better than feeling bloated. And it means that I am not gaining weight. And most likely losing weight.
Try to keep yourself busy so that you don't think about food.
Take up needlepoint or crochet. Keeping my hands busy keeps me from thinking about snacking.
I also try to keep cut up carrots and grapes and things like that to eat for snacks.
Good luck!
It sounds like the problem is not WHAT you eat, but WHEN you eat.
Have you thought about a food journal? It's amazing how helpful they are. Get a notebook, write down everything that goes into your mouth. It helps you see what, when, and how you eat. You become aware of the process, and it helps show you when and where to change something.
Like, if you are eating a bag of chips everyday, about the same time, you will become more concious of your actions, and can maybe find something else to do at that time.
