This is what happens when you go to bed at 9 pm. I was gonna make some coffee and drink it out on the deck but it's 48° right now. Have a good one all!
I had a hard time sleeping last night. There was some sort of a smell throughout the apartment that gave me a burning sensation in my eyes, nose, throat making it hard to breathe. Needless to say, I didn't get much sleep. The smell is still here but it doesn't seem as strong. It makes me nervous to smell something like this. I don't know of any chemical plants around or anything that could cause it.
Anyway, it's a sunny start to the day . . . FINALLY! Though it's not even above freezing temperature-wise.

Is their propane gas at your place? When propane tanks empty a chemical odor will follow. I think it's precautionary thing.

Not that I know of. Heating here is all electric. That's not to say that other tenants may not have other ways to heat rather than use their electric, which would be against the lease. I noticed this same smell back in the middle or end of February too. It lasted a couple of weeks and then I didn't notice it again until the middle of last week. It's really irritating my head for sure.
I thought of that the first time I noticed the smell in February but it's not quite the same. I've had that smell once in a previous apartment. While that smell was quite repugnant, it didn't burn my eyes, nose, throat, etc. This smell actually makes it hard to draw in a breath.
I have wondered if someone is cooking drugs or something but I'm oblivious as to what that would smell like or how it would affect someone.

I had that thought. You need to let the Landlord know. No matter the cause, a chemical in the property could be doing damage.

Body woke me up at 3:47 this morning. Had to get up. Finally was able to go back to sleep before 7.
It's not raining!
FS, sounds like someone is cooking meth.
Any of your neighbors have blacked out windows? Any seem to be throwing away large quantities of foil and cleaners or medicine containers?
Maybe your downstairs neighbor is getting rid of bodies?

I agree with Ikwtd, have the landlord come out and inspect it. It isn't good to smell that stuff either.
42* when we got up this morning; now
its 72* and sunny.
Had to go the long way around to get to
Church this morning - an extra 15 miles.
They're putting in a new bridge across
I-10. Its a traffic nightmare, but at
least they gave us ample warning.
I did today's row on my temperature afghan yesterday. I was a few degrees of on the high. Which is a different color. So now I have to pull it out and redo it. We didn't get much past 60°.

Thanks guys! We had nice dinner. I crammed into a red dress but wore a jacket over it to cover the rolls lol. It ended up looking like a jacket/ skirt which is fine.
Happy anniversary Momala!

This is what I've done so far. It's going to be quite long. If I ever do another I will use thinner yarn and a smaller hook. It's really cool being able to look back at the year. My colors aren't exactly what's on the chart.
