What about bank accts, stock accts, credit card acct, , yeah i expect that to be private and protected.

These days?  No.  As firewalls get stronger, hackers get better.  Nothing is private or protected.  It's the reality of the world we live in...

Man, my checking account was blown up. Thousands gone. I walked in my bank. They know me. They were horrified at the amounts.

No expectation of privacy with bank accounts, etc., either. Have had intrusions on both. Credit cards are hacked every few years. But that's what insurance is for, and banks make good on it anyway.

I haven't used that app. I do have the apple pay app on my phone but haven't figured out how to use it. DH uses his all the time.
