I'm over the rain. Had to drain the pool yesterday and unclog the gutter at the downspout. Guess it's time for spring cleaning up there.

Oh my gosh, so I think I mentioned the other day that a teeth cleaning for my dog was going to be 1200 dollars. I bit the bullet and called my old vet (they are quite a distance from where I live now). 300 dollars! And their exam cost is half the price. I think the drive will be worth it from now on.

We've had so much rain and humidity that I have a jungle growing in my back yard.

We had a brief thunderstorm yesterday afternoon, but other than that, we've had sun for 4 days, now.

Caitlyn and her SO are coming for dinner tonight.

This is my second time meeting him.

I hope it's better than last time.

FS, if you didn't see The Tennis today... it was a good day for Rafa.

He is through in straight sets.

Isner went down to Del Potro, in straight sets. No Americans left, on the men's side.

Serena had to withdraw, before her match with Maria.

She either pulled a pec muscle, or tore it. She'll have an MRI tomorrow, so we will know more about her injury then.

Still rooting for Sloane and Madison, on the women's side. (USA...USA!)

If they both win tomorrow, they would meet in the semi-finals.

Halep, and Keber, are also hanging in, on the other side of the draw.

Interesting times, at The French Open.wink

Oh, THANK YOU, FWM! I don't get the tennis channel and apparently that is the only carrying weekdays. UGH! It's good to hear Rafa went through. He's such a great player. Not surprised Del Potro took out Isner. He's a much better player and has come a long way! I enjoy watching Del Po.

Sorry to hear about Serena but I'm kind of glad. It's nice that other players have a shot at the trophy without her in play. I hope Sloane moves up and makes it through. I like her.

You'll have to keep me posted through the week! lol

That is ridiculous. Even here in the high priced area I live it was only $500.

 It didn't.

Caitlyn came alone.

He sent word he was sorry, he got busy working on the house and lost track of time, but he would come Thursday.

I'm trying really hard not to dislike him, but he is making it really hard.

I had never heard of cleaning an animal's teeth until this board.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

Have the dog's teeth and gums surgically cleaned every so years prevents a lot of money later in life and of course pain.

You can keep up here, FS:  https://www.rolandgarros.com/en-us/

I feel bad for Serena, And I think I'll root for Madison.

Sloane won the US Open last year. I'd like to see Madison break through.smile

But, either way, I'm rooting for our girls!

And, Rafa, of course!. I love that guy!biggrin

Small breeds especially tend to have dental problems for some reason. My chihuahua has several teeth in the back that need to be pulled because they are rotting /dead. And the rest of his teeth are just caked with plaque. He won't even eat dry food anymore I'm pretty sure because it hurts to chew.

He was a rescue so I don't know what his previous owners did for his teeth, if anything.

My rat terrier doesn't have these problems. I'm sure a cleaning would be good but he's getting pretty old and still eats his food so I think he's fine.

Long day. Dr appt for DH and I followed by an unplanned pediatrician appt for DS. He spiked a high fever late last night and complained of his throat hurting. My grandma suspected he had strep throat again (just dealt with it 2ish weeks ago). She was right. He hates the strep swab. He saw the nurse coming with the swab and starting screaming 'noooooo!' and bawling. Poor kid. Hopefully this round of antibiotics will take care of it for good.

Lily - I remember you mentioning that there could be something else going on that looks like strep but isn't. What is it? I forget which of your kids had positive strep tests but it wasn't strep.
