I've been up since 5:30 too! Off to the airport soon. It better be soon because as I sit here and think I keep thinking of things to add to my luggage. Must stop.

Thanks FWM. I hope all goes smoothly. Can't wait to see Dad tomorrow. Hoping I can see him without his wife during the day and then meet up for dinner with her later. And then a big presentation of committee results on Monday. Wish me luck!

The recital was wonderful last night, she did awesome! She was so excited and talked excitedly all the way home. The only irritating thing was the two people who talked loud through out the whole show and would yell out holycrap at times. I gave them a few dirty looks a few times and they would stop for a bit, but would start up again. I get so surprised by people who are so ignorant that they don’t realize how rude they are.

Awww I'm so glad it went so well. Well, except for the crappy talking throughout. I know the feeling of being surprised by those who are so ignorant they don't realize it or just don't care. I have a neighbor like that . . . right below me. She and her family are the worst for not caring who they bother or are rude to. Or how they destroy the property. Sad really.

It was wonderful and she was so excited and can’t wait till next years recita. This little girl use to freeze in front of people during a school program and last night she danced in front of a huge auditorium with full seats. they had preschool up to seniors in high school. The talkers didn’t ruin it for me, it just amazes me how some people who should know better be so rude.
I hope you have fun on your trip ikwtd and everyone has a pleasant evening
Finally home after 14 hours at the farm
stand. Temps only in the low 90's, so
not as bad as previously.
Only problem is, it HURTS every time
I get up out of my chair to wait on a
customer. Yesterday, my aluminum
chair broke, as I was sitting on it.
No warning, just SPLAT! and the whole
chair collapsed. Sent me head-over-
teakettle! Fortunately, DH came back
from inspecting the watermelons, and
found me on the floor. Between him
and the laborer, they were able to give
me enough leverage to get up. I took
some Tylenol immediately, and every
four hours after that, but I still hurt
every time I get up or sit down.
At least I slept well last night. Took
Tylenol PM at 8:00 and slept through
until 4:15 this morning. I think I'll
take some Jack before I go to bed -
maybe it will help ease the muscles.
But the good news is that I'm sold out
of both types of bread and butter pickles.
Regular (small, Kirby cucumbers) and
large (early yellow crook neck squash)
and DH swore that they wouldn't sell!
I have to make more, but not tomorrow.
I'm still too sore to stand more than 5-6
minutes at a time.
And I shelled cream peas, black eyed
peas, and purple hulled peas. Never
did that before I moved to Texas. I
sold out of them as fast as I could
shell them. I think I'll have to try the
purple hulled peas, and the cream peas.
They're fresh, so should cook quickly.
I think the person who invented the
sheller for the purple hulls, black eyes,
and cream peas should get a medal and
a prize. Boy, that machine takes a lot
of work out of fixing peas for the future.
Hugs, everyone. I'm just too tired to
try to clean up tonight. I'll take care of
it tomorrow morning.

Yikes. Glad you are ok and I really hope that soreness goes away PDQ. Wish your Farmer's Market was near me!

Lily ~ Why would ibuprofen help more than Tylenol?
Ibuprofen is an anti inflammatory .
However , if you take it for too long, it can cause stiffness.
So, take it sparingly.
You can alternate ibuprofen and Acetaminophen.
As long as there is 2 hours between the two.
Example.
Ibuprofen at 1
Acetaminophen at 3
Ibuprofen at 5
Acetaminophen at 7

Yes, ibuprofen works better for muscle pain and soreness. You just have to make sure not to take too much.
Ibuprofen and Tylenol affect different organs. Too much ibuprofen is bad for your stomach, and too much Tylenol is bad for your liver and kidneys. So, like Lily said, you alternate to get the best relief while not over-taxing any one organ.

LL and Lily ~
Thank you for the eye-opener! I'll
keep that in mind, the next time I
take a spill.
Had to wear a long-sleeved shirt today
- the bruises are several shades of
purple, green, yellow, and maroon.
Don't want people to think DH roughed
me up.
