Why? Why do I have to work the early shift. UGH I have to be at work for 6. I hate this shift for that reason but the good news? I'm done at 10 a.m. and have the rest of the day to do what I want, which may be a nap. Nope, I just remembered I have to take my friend to pick up her car at noon and then we're doing lunch. OK, after lunch . . . a nap.
It's a really chilly start to the day here with a current temp of about 50*. Rather than close the windows, I put on my winter jammies. lol The high for the day is supposed to be around 80 and steadily climb as the week goes on. The weekend is going to be a scorcher with temp approaching the upper 90s.
Going to meet my new boss today and the new Team. Then work with the person I am replacing to transition the work. Excited. Only drawback is I have to give up the parking garage since this facility doesn't have one. Must remember to put the windshield sun shade back into my car.

Morning! Only gonna be 93 today! During the summer I park about 50 yards or so further than I have to so I can have a shady spot.

Next week I start a month of 6 am shifts. Good thing i only have a 15 minute drive at that hour. Getting off at 2:30 is the plus side of it.

Hoping and praying it won't be as bad today.
There have been 3 confirmed tornados in as many days.
Thankfully, they are very short in duration and relatively low level.
