Even in the midst of a deluge, we had people
stopping for watermelons, and TOMATOES!!
EVERYBODY wanted our tomatoes. We are
completely sold out of them. Even the ones
that are slightly bruised, that would be great
for salsa or hot sauce!
The local melon growers are very happy with
us. They have never sold so many melons,
and we give them an order two days before
we think we will need them. All of the melons
DH raised have gone, so we're buying from
the locals (wholesale), so they don't have to
scrounge for buyers. Its a win-win situation.
