That's a good time to go. The summer crowds are pretty much gone. I have someone I can ask. Hotel Tybee is a good option though.

The weather should be pretty warm still. When I was staying on tybee that same week2 years ago we had a tropical storm so the surf was pretty rough. Last year our tybee trip got canceled due to hurricane Irma. Be sure to get travel insurance.
