Morning all. Woke up realizing I used the last of the creamer yesterday. Then, when I got to work I ran into a nurse named Lola. So now I'm walking around cranky and singing Copa Cabana over and over in my head.
Can't believe today marks the end of DS' first week in preschool. He had his first sub on Wednesday. Got a glowing report. Sub said he was very helpful in the classroom and helped the other kids with their math. I'm glad he's settling in to this school. The school he's in uses an advanced curriculum, essentially one year ahead of public school, and it would be hard to switch him if he didn't like it since he'd be getting the same material a second time. The math the preschool uses is a modified Kindergarten curriculum, for example.

MB is really changing. There's a lot more crime and rowdy visitors. I've been reading some threads on FB about MB, lot of unhappy visitors.
We've been going for years.
North Myrtle is not the party area like Myrtle beach is.
And the timing of your visit is important.
It isn't really any more dangerous than any other tourist area.
We stay in NMB, a smaller resort that is part of a vacation club.
And we visit the typical tourist traps.
Honestly, other than the occasional drunk, we've never had a problem.

You are exactly right about the litter
box. Cats can smell their box from
over a mile away.

Put out water - lots and lots of water -
but NO food. You don't want other
critters coming in and eating her food.
Even if you have changed her litter,
she should still smell Jack Daniels,
and recognize the scent.
Let us know when Jazz gets back. It is so frustrating when they decide to take a little trip and do not notify anyone. We have a black "outside" cat here who disappears about once every two months for 3 days. Cannot imagine where the heck he goes, but he always comes back - really hungry.
