… chickens are laying powdered eggs

… we were fishing, and the catfish had ticks

… I'd like to see it rain again, not so much for me, but my grandson is 7, and he's never seen rain

… fish are knocking on the door, asking for a drink of water

… farmers are feeding their chickens crushed ice to keep them from laying hard boiled eggs

… I threw the dish water out the back door & it evaporated before it hit the ground.

Texas heat will do that, I've been to a couple of equal heat and that is India and Indonesia. I remember visiting my mom and dad in Texas and it was so hot you can smell the asphalt.

We are getting a downpour. And, we had a 10 % chance of rain.

San Antonio and Galveston both got
swamped - but we never got a drop!
Apparently 30 miles can make a
huge difference.
