I've worked on and off today, took DD shopping, packed my feed bag for work tomorrow. And now a friend has invited me to her pool. It is certainly hot enough!

My poor niece lives in Wilmington. She's at my sister's right now. She's supposed to leave for a cruise Wednesday out of Miami. The roads are so bad they can't even try to go home yet.
Glad you are safe and sound, SB. Any threat of flooding still to come? Hope your neice can go on her cruise and her place is ok.

It's a super sleepy day here. I finished cleaning out my room, well all but my bed and a clothes basket I'm living out of, made lunch, and laid down. Woke up just a little bit ago. I could go back to sleep right now. I think the last couple weeks are catching up with me.

Niece heard from a neighbor who stayed. Their house is fine. The fence got taken out by a tree and the road leading into their subdivision is badly damaged.

Ugg. Anything pretty and acceptable, we had trouble finding sizes. And some of them.....seriously, cleavage down to the frickin' navel. I finally wondered out loud if the department store was stocking dresses for high school girls or hookers, and the other mothers there were like - "My thoughts exactly! Glad I'm not the only one to feel that way."
DD14 finally found her dress in the women's formal dress department rather than the teens. The dress fits her perfectly, and it is stunning!
