Susan Collins surprised me when she threw the gauntlet down. Collins is a RHINO however she said both Ford and Kavanaugh should be questioned UNDER OATH. That is why Ford won't testify.

She did reluctantly provide the names of two people who were there, both have come out saying that is not what happened and that they do not remember him there with her.

I think she has been paid off by Soroes to make the accusation and it is not playing out as planned. She will retreat to the corner. Horrible thing to do to someone. I've always thought that someone who falsely accuse someone of sexual assault should have to spend the same amount of time in jail as an assailant would.

I agree, women who accuses someone of rape, assault should be charged and in jail , in fact a woman was recently sentence a year in prison for false accusations. Women like that is what really makes it harder for women who are really raped and assaulted not to mention ruin innocent lives.

I am a rape victim. And it infuriates me when females use the accusation as some sort of defense. No rape victim does not know the exact date and time of the crime and place and the names of any witnesses if they were pals. It is etched in my mind as are all the minute details.

Now, I do not believe her story as stated.

That said, any relationship a person is in has no bearing on if it is "actual assault".

I just can't get past not remembering any of the details. If it happened and we are talking so truly traumatic that she blocked it out, then we are talking recovered memory, which is not reliable.

And if someone is an abuser and you sit on that for 30yrs, then she is responsible for other other victims as well. BUT - the story is uncorroborated, and flat out denied by people she claimed were at the same party. It should be a non-starter.

I saw part of her interview with NBC, on the early morning news, this morning.

From what I can remember, ( This was 4 am. I hadn't had any coffee yet, so I'm paraphrasing.) she admitted to being drunk on her butt at the party. She couldn't see straight. And her memories of that night, have holes in them.

Also, think of the longer range effects of this kind of thing. Will men really want to work closely with women at work? Will they be afraid to have meetings with them, employ them, etc?
